   To be totally honest, and you did ask for a review, our visit to Plan B was a disappointment. Only things I knew for sure beforehand is that it was a noisy place and the French Onion Soup was watery. Both statements are accurate, as it’s very loud in that small place and indeed, the French Onion Soup was watery and thin. We were there to celebrate my 73rd birthday. I ordered the rack of lamb and my wife the lobster on risotto. My lamb was so undercooked that I had to send it back. My wife’s lobster was okay, but lacking in flavor. All in all, really mediocre. For dessert, we ordered a Bananas Foster to share. To acknowledge my birthday, our servicer came out with one candle on an empty plate. What?? A solitary upright little candle with nothing else. Overall, it was a disappointment. Usually a birthday, anniversary or some other event would have something, a complimentary small dessert, drink, or something. But I got a candle. The food was nothing special for us. And no, we will not return.

   We have never had a dish there we didn’t like. Their specials are always top notch and the Royans we could eat as a meal with a salad.

   The short ribs and lamb diners were amazing. French onion soup was a bit watery. Cauliflower soup was delicious.

   We just love this place for date night. It’s quaint and cozy, everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. And the food… is delicious! Tonight’s scallops and pork& shrimp were our new favorites, and Brians Grandmas cheesecake is always a must! Can’t wait to come back!

   Great over all! The shopping center PlanB is located in could use a face-lift but the food was very good and the service was great.

   We have dinner here several times a year. Food and service always excellent. It is noisy and sometimes hard to hear your dinner companion.

   Excellent overall experience. We sat outside so the ambiance was nice and quiet, more romantic than busy noisy sort of feel. The food was done just right; the calamari had just the right amount of batter on it; the Caesar salad had just the right amount of dressing with just the right amount of pungent anchovy on it. And finally, the mussels, which can be done 6 ways—we had two of them—had just the right amount of creamy sauce and the right amount of spice on the spicy one. We will definitely be back to try the other 4 ways of cooking mussels. Service was also just right—just the right amount of attention making it fall short of intrusion. The chef even came out to greet us! What more can we ask for?

    Dinner last night was fabulous. Most of us had the fillet with different vegetables to accompany it. They were very accommodating with dietary choices, which I really appreciate. We took some friends that had some specific desires and they stepped up to the plate. Lenny was amazing, as usual. He was very kind and gently guided our friends to what they should have when they question some things. I just love this place.
