The meal was delicious, and our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was very nice and not loud even though the restaurant was mealy at capacity. We’ll definitely go back!

Used to be one of my favorite places in Austin to eat! The menu has changed vastly (weird to include sushi) and the food/service was just average at best. Want them to return to their old days, the original menu offerings were too tier. I miss the fish toast, the shishito peppers, the calamari when it was crispy, and I swear the Cesar salad has changed… something was different and I really was just disappointed. It’s still good, but I feel as though I could have gone elsewhere for the same experience. Hoping they bring back some of the things that made this restaurant a charm to begin with… but the sushi has got to go. It takes up to much of the menu and feels out of place… plus Blue is right next store? Please reconsider the menu… and hopefully I will be back. Until then, I will only stick to the oysters and the Brussel sprouts here because both have stood the test of time.

My husband and I have been to Plank on two other occasions for happy hour, which we thought was decent - but not necessarily our favorite. This time we went with our two young children at lunch time on a Saturday and it was like a totally different experience! The kids meals have a ton of bang for their buck! Our server was a little on the quiet side but made excellent recommendations such as the ceviche to share and the fish tacos. The icing on the cake for us were the sea foam margaritas. I LOVE a good margarita but the sea foam?! Delicious! We will be back next time we are at the Domain.

If you're not hitting up Plank Provisions from 3-6pm daily, you're missing out. Their happy hour is unbeatable--fresh oysters that hit the spot, a spicy crab roll that's packed with flavor, and yellowtail sashimi so fresh it practically melts. The cherry on top? Half-off glasses of Chardonnay to pair with it all. It's the perfect way to unwind without breaking the bank. The only thing I'd tweak is the cleanliness--could use a little extra attention during the rush. But with deals this good, it's hard to complain. Highly recommend!
