4 of us enjoyed a piping hot Sunday roast (& a pudding each to wash it down). You’ll be seeing us again for sure!

Roast Sunday dinner was not what we expected. All looked and tasted like it was out of a packet or box….microwaved at best. Mixed frozen veg, frozen roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese that was bland and runny. Very over priced for what was essentially a ready meal. Very disappointed. Better places to eat in the area.

Themeal was disappointing and the service non existant apart from the young chap bringing the food to the table. Frozen veg, frozen roast potatoes, microwaved cauliflower cheese- piping hot dish and source, cold cauliflower that didn't go anywhere near an oven or grill . Seated but not told we had to go to the bar to order (8 people across a range of tables sitting waiting), no cutlery or condiments in the room we were in- we had to go and find them. Plates not cleared by the time we left. Just poor. It was a lovely room , too many tables and a lot of dogs which were controlled but anyone ill at ease with dogs would have struggled. Xmas decorations were lovely, gravy was hot and my chicken was good .(not so the beef). Sorry guys.

Lovely, friendly pub which serves great food. It's very dog friendly, which is always a bonus. Will definitely eat here again on our next trip to Betws-y-coed.

Staff were very friendly and polite. Food was just ok. We were a party of 4 and all ordered a roast dinner, 1 chicken, 1 roast pork and 2 trio of meat (chicken, beef and pork). The chicken was very nice but the pork wasn't actually roast pork it was gammon and it was very salty. Also, the menu said the roast pork came with stuffing but my friend never got any on her dinner, when we queried this the kitchen said it didn't??? Perhaps they need to update the menu to reflect that.

Travelled to visit pub and staff were very offhand saying that they don’t check the app so did not know we had a reservation. Was offered an outside table in the rain and dark with a heater. Very disappointed and won’t be going back. At least one other party in the same position so cannot rely on the app/ pub to communicate with each other Avoid.

Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Good choice of meals. Portion sizes were plentiful. All of our party had starters and mains but were too full for dessert. I will definitely be returning

Chaotic to order, had to collect your own cutlery and condiments. cutlery was sparse and the ones that were there were dirty. Tables were dirty. It was reminiscent of a roadside trucker cafe. And there was smoking allowed in the outside eating areas!! Ordered deserts after the main course, but had to queue up again for 20 mins before getting to order them. The food was very nice. But the deserts took ages to arrive and they had to ask us twice what we had ordered?? All this and it wasn’t very busy. On overhearing other customers, we went the only ones having difficulties. Needless to say we will not be returning to this establishment in the future.
