   Excellent choice for diners who want a hanging' special breakfast with several innovative benedict choices including Dungeness crab benedict or crab cake benedict. The pancake/waffles are very good with many fruit toppings options that you can add, but some come fruity spreads creating a little too much gooey affect. Plain eggs dishes and the rosemary potatoes a little too bland and bloating but the breakfast sandwiches, BLT 's are good. Think before you order!

   The food is great. It was very busy, so the service was just ok. It started a little slow. It was packed that day, so we sat quite close to each other.

   The three of us had the eggs benedict with salmon at Portage Bay Cafe in West Seattle. It was delicious. However, it was lukewarm at best. The server was very friendly and provided excellent service. Glad we made reservations ahead of time because it was packed. The noise level was moderate so we could talk without shouting. Highly recommend the watermelon mimosa!

   Don’t let Yelp nay-sayers dissuade anyone from enjoying one of the best brunches in Seattle. At any of the Portage Bay Cafe locations a diner will enjoy healthy options, and plenty of opportunities to indulge.

    Great food, as always - I had the bananas foster French toast so I could go to the berry bar; partner had the seasonal special, a smoked salmon benedict). Decent coffee and refills available. Nice table in the sun (though I noticed a couple people asked to be moved because of the sun; they really need blinds). It does get loud; better for 2-4 people than large groups, so you can hear each other.
