   Amazing as always and Francesca is about as good as they come. She is our favorite waitress, so personable and makes us feel special every time. Bravo to Chef Miles and all the staff. Our favorite restaurant in Albuquerque by far.

   We went to the bat before dinner for a drink and Avery was our bartender she is very sweet and made us some delicious drinks. We found out that she would also be our waitress we opted to change tables to stay in the bar area. The food and drinks were delicious. We will be back .

   Starters were excellent. The steak had an overwhelming smoky taste to it. The sides were good.

   We arrived for the special Thanksgiving menu close to the last seating and that may account for the very dismal state of the food. The first side had been on the warming table much too long and was crisp beyond edible. When the waitress saw that I hadn't eaten it, instead of apologizing, she told me to not worry, that all sides were actually free and that I was only paying $80 for the entree. Somehow this did not appease me, it just made me think she took me to be an idiot. The other sides were nice, and the entree was fine, just not anywhere near worth $80! None of the diners at our table were as impressed with this four course meal as the menu led us to believe we would be getting. It was pretty pedestrian. We had to ask for bread. We had to ask to have the unused wine glasses taken away. We had to ask to have our water refilled. We won't be back to the Prairie Star. We had been hoping to find a new gem for dining but were very disappointed.

   Thank you for sending your feedback, and we are grateful you chose Prairie Star for your Thanksgiving celebration. We are pleased you enjoyed yourself, and have shared the compliments with Chef Myles and the service staff. Our decor does seem muted, but we think suitable for a Native American-owned, renovated 100-year old adobe ranch house. We do have new dining chairs on the way, and probably new flooring, and should provide a needed freshening of the decor! We hope you will plan to return soon and thank you again.

   We enjoyed an exquisite thanksgiving meal. The view is spectacular, the restaurant cozy, and the food was delicious and creative. I especially enjoyed the fried sage and the red chile caramel which accompanied the pecan pie.

   As always, the food and the service were impeccable. Thanksgiving Prie Fixe meal will be remembered. We will be returning to this restaurant again and again.
