Prejean's Restaurant is a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Little Al, our 8-foot stuffed gator to welcome you to our warm, friendly, and casual atmosphere. Mouth watering Char-Grilled Oysters served up with a bowl of one of our Signature Gumbos or maybe a perfectly cooked juicy Steak are just some of our menu offerings that are sure to delight.

After 40 years of ownership under the Guilbeau Family, Prejean’s started a new chapter in November 2020! New owners Tim Metcalf, Greg Metcalf, & Ken Boudreaux bring a combined 75+ years of restaurant experience & a new attitude to the iconic Prejean’s Restaurant.

Food and service were excellent. Doesn’t have all things on menu at main restaurant. Would be great to get crab augratin.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our son’s graduation day at Prejeans! The food and drinks were very tasty. We loved the modern twist on Cajun classics! There was something for everyone. Our server was accommodating, friendly and very helpful.

Our dining experience at Prejean’s was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and our server was incredibly informative and sweet throughout the meal, enhancing our overall experience. She suggested the pretty in pink drink and it’s definitely my new favorite. The food was outstanding. I’m not a fan of veggies and we ordered an extra order of green beans to bring home because they were so yummy. We left thoroughly satisfied and already planning our next visit. Prejeans has definitely earned a spot on our list of favorite dining spots, and we can’t wait to return for another amazing meal.

The food was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was fun and a great time for all ages. Loved the band playing music while dining on the patio area. Can’t wait to go back!

Overall great night and we will be returning! The hamburger steak was delicious and gumbo was very tasty… just a tad bit spicy.

Really salty and greasy étouffée. Disappointed because we love the Carencro location… and the higher prices compared to similar restaurants.
