   Delicious food. Hard to describe the mastery required to put together such delicious, well balanced Italian-inspired meals. A lot of care is put into coming up with such a great menu and preparing such amazing dishes. A wonderful culinary experience all around. Not a place to go for a cheap meal, but most definitely satisfying and worth every penny.

   One of my favourite restaurants in Saskatoon hands down. Tonight was another great experience - food, service, ambience etc, all of it!

   Amazing food and large portions. Great place for a night out. Service was a bit hectic the night we had supper. It was a Monday and they said they weren’t expecting the crowd that they had. We had a reservation and I know so did a few others that were seated after us so I’m not sure if that’s a fair excuse by their staff. We will be going back for the 5 course!

   Comments after our meal: The best ravioli I ever had! The ricotta was so smooth! I’m getting the beef carpaccio the next time! The pavlova, the butterscotch “pudding” was the best! How about that espresso martini! Needless to say, it was exactly the meal my wife & I were looking to have for our 25th anniversary.

   Service was top notch and professional. Wait staff was courteous with our questions and very informative. Suggestions on menu items were helpful and appreciated. Drinks, starters and mains were all fantastic. Always a pleasure to dine at Primal.

    My girlfriend and I come for a night out. We had a reservation for 8:00pm. We arrived at 8:03pm. I understand that it is hard to predict when tables will leave, but we did not get a table until 8:20pm. As we were waiting we were offered water which was thoughtful. I think he was part of the managing staff but he was incredible. He provided us water while we were waiting and took our coats. I wish they had a better cocktail menu. They have a limited list, but what they do serve is good. I had ordered the same cocktail twice, and both times it was served differently (but tasted the same). My friend didn’t have a cocktail as nothing was appealing to her on the menu. I had the bison carpaccio, and my friend had the beetroot salad. Both were great! I didn’t find anything appealing on the dinner menu, but my friend had a pasta dish. She enjoyed it, but it was simple. Our waitress was okay. She was pleasant but I felt that the manager guy was taking care of us more than our actual server. I love that this place is locally owned and uses local ingredients. I have been a couple times and I think the place just isn’t for me, but I’m glad it is so popular.
