Dedicated to the expression of modern American cuisine, Prime: An American Kitchen & Bar is more than just a culinary adventure, it is a true experience. Guests can choose from an array of raw bar favorites, like blue point oysters, little neck clams, and lobster cocktail, along with Mizu Sushi, and steaks and chops like filet mignon and parmesan-crusted veal chop. For those with a sweet tooth, there are several dessert options, like New York style cheesecake, crème brûlée, and the crowd-favorite espresso martini – all served with complimentary water views, as both Prime locations are directly on the water with boat accessibility.

Sunday Brunch is offered weekly, with catering options also available.

Please note that reservations are recommended but walk-ins are always welcome...allowing you the time to explore our entire property with spectacular waterfront views.

    Prime will only be serving a 4-Course Prix Fixe Dinner Menu this evening. The price per person will be $175 plus tax and gratuity. Beverages will be available at à la carte pricing. We will have live music featuring DJ Kaos Productions from 10pm- 1:30am. We require a credit card to hold your reservation. There will be a $50/pp penalty charge for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance and no-shows.

    While pricey, well worth it! The food is excellent. The view is great. Service is 5-star! Overall great experience. I have had a dozen business lunches there and go back each time because of their commitment to consistent excellence.

    We had a table at the window. It got busy, though we never felt that we waited unduly long. The food was exquisite and the service friendly and efficient.

    overall, an excellent restaurant for dinner with a party of adults. Be sure to ask for the price before ordering any special recommended by the staff. I was surprised by what we were charged for the Wagu ribeye special on Thanksgiving.

    Prime is one of my favorite restaurants in Stamford. My brother and I both had steak. The filet mignon and skirt steak were cooked perfectly. The sides were also excellent. I was disappointed with the martini. The glass wasn’t completely full after the pour and the waitress had to go back to the bartender to get more martini! It’s the food (and a good wine list) that keeps me coming back!
