   We have dined here often in the past....normally every segment rating has been outstanding. This experience was different....We arrived at 6 pm and were seated immediately....We had a drink and ordered our salads and entrees around 6:15....the salads did not get served till around 7:30 and were not exactly what we ordered....the enrees did not get served till a little after eight.....We ordered dessert and that took around 20 minutes to arrive.....I spoke with Steve, the maitre d, who apologized and did take the salads and dessert off the bill. While that was a nice gesture it did not make the overall 3 hour dinner a better experience....I made it clear to Steve that we did not blame our server, Nicole, in fact she did her absolute best given the circumstances !!

   We have been to prime a few times now it it consistently delivers! We brought some friends this time and were seated near the fireplace, which, ordinarily would be nice but there was aa function in the room adjacent and it was quite loud. I let the Manager know and he told me unforutnately, there were. fully booked and he couldn't move us. Within a few minutes however, he came by and told us he was putting together a table and. would move us. They were so accommodating and we really appreciated it. The food was outstanding (especially scallop and lamb entree's and the brussels sprouts!!) The service was outstanding and the take on a cinnamon bun for dessert was also outstanding. All in all it's on par with many top end Boston restaurants. We'll look forward to going again during the week. Also to note: they are VERY accommodating for bringing your own bottle of wine and the corkage is reasonable. VERY well done!

   Love Prime at Sky Meadow. Always top notch service, food, atmosphere and if you want to catch the game, you can. We had the half rack of lamb. was a very generous portion cooked to perfection and my husband and son split the Tbone. Also cooked to perfection and at our request they sliced it up for them. Thanks Steve for checking in with us a couple times to make sure everything was ok.

   My Girlfriend took me here for my birthday dinner. The only bad thing was . Picking what we wanted for dinner. Pete was our server , and Steve as the manager as well as the rest of the staff make you feel welcome. Every dish was spot on. Every oyster was flawless, the thick cut bacon amazing. I had the lamb chops they melt in your mouth. She had a filet done to perfection. Their signature drink was a smoked concoction that was an experience in itself. Fun delicious and friendly is an understatement. Thanks guys you made my Birthday.

   Normally this would be a 5-star meal across the board, but the restaurant had NO HEAT and it was 18 degrees outside. They should have closed the dining room. Our service was wonderful, but our servicer noted that she had a thermal layer under her uniform. The lighting was so low we needed to use flashlights to see our menu .... they could have been up a few degrees (like the heat).

   Overall food and service what I would expect from a nice restaurant, but not a premier restaurant at premier prices. Food and service were good, but not exceptional. I'm comparing to a similar priced steak restaurants like Capital Grille.

   We're not members of the country club so we had a challenging time finding Prime as there's no signage for the restaurant. The restaurant opens at 5, got there at 5:30, to Phil Collins blaring Sussudio, I felt like I was clubbing back in the 80s it was so loud. Perhaps it's because we're not members, we were given a table by the exit door and the kitchen - between that and the really loud music, the ambiance of fine dining was eliminated. We asked for them to lower the music and they did - it was so cold in the restaurant, our dinner companion put their coat back on and other people were dining with coats on. Again, perhaps it was because we're not members, but the dress code clearly states men must wear shirts with collars (from their website: "All male shirts must have a collar. ") - the dress code seemed to be more of a suggestion on our visit. The wine menu is substantial, the drinks are perfection, but we felt rushed through the meal, and when I specifically asked if the (add-on) bearnaise sauce was made on site, I was told yes - the resulting Hollandaise sauce was fine, but not what I requested - after the meal when I questioned the hollandaise (versus the bearnaise on the menu) I was told "it's not a traditional bearnaise." - Then why not mention it when I ordered it and specifically asked you questions about it? The meals were fine, we started with lobster tostadas, and clams casino, my french onion soup was perhaps the best I have had, 1/2 rack of lamb, 10 oz filet, chicken parmesan, sushi, and the chicken /pasta special - it was all lovely, but not sensational - dessert was fun, we had the cheesecake and the coffee cake - good coffee - a nice meal, but not the experience we were led to believe we would have.
