   One of my personal favorites (around the world). Food is cooked to perfection; menu updates frequently; signature dishes… are signature dishes for a reason and doesn’t disappoint (esp. the salt baked prawns); wine pairing offers good balance between traditional and fun/quirky ones (sommelier ; hospitality and service from Donato to each of staff is awesome. What’s not to like?

   There is so many add ons that are a separate cost that actually make the experience a bit better. The items on the pre-fix are not that great. Overall the food does not have a lot of flavor. They also had the restaurant set at 65 degrees and your food will go cold so quickly it loses its taste. Overall not worth it. I wouldn’t go back.

   This was my fourth visit to Providence. Overall, the experience was positive, but it did not fully meet the expectations of a two-Michelin-star restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly host who immediately escorted us to our table inside the dining room, which was 70% occupied. I had specifically requested a corner table, but my request was not honored, and the host did not mention it. It wasn’t a big deal as we were eager to eat. I’ve always admired the ambiance of the soft green walls and fairly dark dining room of Providence. The menu was presented, and a birthday greeting was added to it for my girlfriend, which was a nice touch. However, I did feel that the experience did not meet the expected standards. Carlos, the master server, appeared somewhat detached and aloof throughout the evening. The other servers were much more amiable and communicative. I was grateful that we did not have to interact with him during our two-hour visit, as his demeanor detracted from our overall dining experience. Turning to the food, the dishes were served at an ideal pace, with seven courses plus oysters, each one unique and appealing. The dessert was satisfactory, though not extraordinary. Overall, the experience was satisfactory, though not as exceptional as some of my previous dining experiences. It did not feel like a Michelin two-star restaurant. This is simply my personal opinion.

    We visited years ago and just went back to celebrate a birthday. What a fantastic experience from start to finish.A tasting menu with no duds, everything was delicious and the service was warm and attentive. 10/10!!
