Several years ago, I decided that my future in the restaurant business would most likely not remain in the realm of fine dining and gourmands, but would rather lean towards the style of restaurant that I found myself frequenting most often - places that provided consistency and quality at a price that was fair for the quality of the food and experience. Public House plays to the comforts of good, solid food, while applying the principles of premium food products to a more casual setting. You will find all the fish is delivered from Foley’s in Boston, high quality steaks and a rotating selection of vegetable sides that are true to the region and season. You’ll also find a really good hamburger and fish sandwich, along with fun snacks and small plates that pair well with cocktails, beer and wine.

                                                                                                    We had a wonderful time! We (my mom included) live Public House, so I made reservations right away when I received a notification that they would be open for Mother’s Day brunch. I didn’t know what to expect exactly, but the buffet style was nice and offered something for everyone from traditional lunch lovers to brunch fans. The service was, as usual, outstanding as well.

                                                                                                    Mother’s Day brunch was not nearly as good as last year. Prime rib was way overcooked. No red color whatsoever. Green beans were not cooked enough and were tough. I’ve eaten here a lot and this is the first time I’ve ever been disappointed. Overall their food and service is top notch.

                                                                                                    The brunch food was fabulous today. The prime rib, ham, chicken, breakfast foods, desserts….it was all delicious! This is one of our top 3 favorite restaurants in Chattanooga! They always do a great job with their dishes, their service, and we continue to come here for lunch or dinner. We highly recommend public House.
