Owned and operated by a Mexican American family whose best memories all include tacos, Puesto is an award-winning Mexican Artisan Kitchen & Bar providing an innovative approach to authentic Mexican flavors. Puesto has garnered national acclaim for its Mexico City-style crispy melted cheese tacos, served on handmade non-GMO, organic, maíz azul stone-ground tortillas.

In addition to tacos, offerings include a selection of fresh catch ceviches, guacamoles, starters and ensaladas, courtesy of Chef/Partner Luisteen Gonzales. The bar program showcases the best of Mexico City through the use of fresh ingredients in our hand crafted cocktails and housemade Micheladas, tequilas, mezcals, house-brewed beers, and Valle de Guadalupe wines you can’t find elsewhere

100% a must go if you are in the area. Salsas, guac, and tacos were all absolutely amazing. Our waitress, Rachel, was very nice and attentive, even with it so busy. We had a great time.

The drinks were great. We had classic margs. The guac was also very good. The mains were lackluster and expensive. The grilled fish taco had little to no flavor. The tortillas were cold. We ordered corn to share and it came out 5+ mins before our tacos so it was also cold by the time we ate.

The tacos and margaritas are outstanding. We are also big fans of the perfect guacamole with pecorino Romano cheese. Our severs were also phenomenal with excellent suggestions. We will return when we are in San Diego again.

Our food and service was excellent! We all tried different tacos. I loved the lobster, mushroom and veggie tacos. The chips and salsa was great, too!

This is a favorite and between Taco Tuesday and happy hour(s) it’s a great option. Good food and service. Easy parking. Great place to relax and sit outside have some drinks and food. Highly recommend.

Decent, but service suffers when they get busy. Ordered guacamole to start. After 10 minutes we received a bowl of guacamole but no chips. We were told our server would bring the chips. I’m not sure why the person who brought the guacamole was not capable of bringing the chips, but whatever. So we sat with a bowl a guacamole for 15 minutes before the chips were delivered and we were able to continue with our order. Took 25 minutes to get our meals, which consisted of 4 tacos. That’s it. Just tacos. They were decent, but over the top with flavors. The tortillas were excellent.

We were a party of 9 have a business dinner. The staff was attentive and food was excellent. I was the only person who had been to the restaurant before and I received a lot of praise for my choice, so thank you.
