Owned and operated by a Mexican American family whose best memories all include tacos, Puesto is an award-winning Mexican Artisan Kitchen & Bar providing an innovative approach to authentic Mexican flavors. Puesto has garnered national acclaim for its Mexico City-style crispy melted cheese tacos, served on handmade non-GMO, organic, maíz azul stone-ground tortillas. In addition to tacos, offerings include a selection of fresh catch ceviches, guacamoles, starters and ensaladas, courtesy of Chef/Partner Luisteen Gonzales. This restaurant is listed as accepting the OpenTable digital rewards card and when I presented my digital card to the restaurant associates, the staff declined accepting the digital card to offset against the final check because it’s against their policy. This is not acceptable and the restaurant should have listed itself off the OpenTable’s list. As a customer, I feel duped how the situation unfolded. I intend to escalate this matter to OpenTable.

We had a wonderful lunch and tried some new items. We love the Puesto perfect guacamole. The filet mignon taco was spicy and delicious. Can’t wait to come back and dine here again.

Our second time driving out to Irvine for dinner at Puesto and it has been a great experience each time. The service from the hostess, waitress to the drinks and food is exceptional. Great hospitality!!

This is my go-to spot for tacos, ceviche, guacamole, and chips with salsa. As someone born and raised in Mexico City, this place reminds me of some of the restaurants back home. Must try.

They don't have enough heater outside and it is cold night times Just get inside table on cold season

Food was just ok, service horrible, prices ridiculous. We had 7 for dinner, with a couple of drinks per person, it took well over 2 hours, and the bill was $450..... before tip. Oh, and the seats were very uncomfortable as well. Never again . 😵‍💫
