   Had an amazing evening, great atmosphere and staff are fantastic too . Thank you will be visiting again for great drinks and enjoyed the cheese board too

   Booked a table for the evening to listen to music got table taken off me so didn't even get to listen to music not happy

   Table booked for 2 hours, waited 20 minutes for a round of drinks, told to prepare to leave with 15 minutes remaining. First drinks we selected weren’t available. Service was fine, delivered to the standard you would expect. Singer handed out list of songs but didn’t know 2 of the first few requests. In my opinion atmosphere was poor. Not my cup of tea.

   As a loyal patron of the Puffin Rooms and a frequent visitor to the adjoining cigar shop, I have always appreciated the ambiance and quality these establishments offered. Unfortunately, my recent experience fell strikingly short of expectations due to significant changes in the staff. The experience began with an unexpectedly cold and unwelcoming reception from the door staff. Once inside, the service only worsened. The waitstaff exhibited a surprisingly poor attitude, marked by rudeness and a distinct lack of accountability when our drink orders were incorrect. There was a palpable sense from some staff members that they would rather be elsewhere, which was particularly evident in how one member addressed my wife. The small female staff member who served our table was unprofessional and displayed an alarming lack of respect when engaging with our party of four. It was abundantly clear that training and experience were lacking across the board, which greatly impacted our enjoyment of the evening. Having spent a considerable amount of money over the years at both the Puffin Rooms and the cigar shop, I expected a level of service that matched the reputation they had built. Unfortunately, this experience was enough to ensure that I will not return. I am deeply disappointed to see such a decline and will no longer trust this venue with my time or patronage.

   Fantastic spot one of my favourite places to end a great day out in Liverpool. The host was fantastic, selection of cigars was amazing and the drinks were great too.

   Singer and pianist were excellent. The rest of the evening was mediocre. We had a table at the bar which you think would mean good service but in fact we were wrong. The bar staff were more interested in chatting to each other than being attentive. The drinks were great once served though. We didn’t eat so cannot comment on that but the free bar snacks were good. The toilets were disgusting. They are only two and both are unisex and clearly not being checked by the staff. I quietly let one of the team know and all I got was I’ll let my manager know but it was some time before the poor barman was sent in to mop up the mess! Honestly the worst toilets we’ve been in after spending 3 days in Liverpool. This place had so much promise but we were really let down and would not go back.

   Absolutely fantastic! What a brilliant place. Food was excellent, cocktails amazing and the entertainment was the icing on the cake. I don’t want to recommend it to anyone, just keep it for my wife and myself!

    As you enter, the first thing that hits you is the smell of cigar smoke. The room where you eat is small and on this occasion really cold. Our waiter was very young and a bit cocky, however the cocktails were very good. He had little knowledge of the food, but it didn’t matter as the choices are limited and are small plates of mainly starter like food. I asked our waiter where the ladies room was and he told me it was 2024 and a unisex restroom. It was indeed like a men’s urinal as the man that was in there hadn’t closed the cubicle door!! The cubicle I used was in need of a good clean. We ordered a sharing cheeseboard with some wine which never came… we didn’t get to finish the cheese as we were told we had to leave because the next people for our table had arrived. The singer had started so all conversation had ended anyway.
