Food was excellent and portion size was perfect. Best Prime Rib dinner we have had in ages. My husband had a nice size portion of salmon that he was impressed with.

Our drinks were a Caesar & pina colada delicious! We began dinner with juice for Hubby & cream of chicken soup for me. Bread basket had pumpernickel & white bread. Delicious! Then onto salads; a regular for me & an onion salad for Hubby. I’m planning on an onion salad next time! Hubby had a strip loin steak that was perfectly done as medium rare & garlic mashed potatoes. I had salmon & broccolini. The salmon had a light breading which was interesting & delicious. Also tartar sauce. The salmon piece was large & done perfectly. It was our 48th anniversary. We followed dinner with delicious coffee & a wonderful light creamy chocolate cake & whipped topping compliments of the house. What a splendid way to finish off a superb meal. We found Rae & Jerry’s hasn’t changed. 👏👏 Great food, great service & wonderful ambience.

I was hosting a party for seven and they set up a table as I had requested and then provided excellent service. This is a very comfortable restaurants, there are other groups around but their voices never intrude. It is so very nice to be at a place that still has white table linens, or cloths of any sort, the decor, menue and feel is retro, but up to date in terms of great service. Yes, would return, and recommend.

They were unprepared, untrained and overwhelmed. We waited over 15 minutes for our table, even though it sat empty from the time we arrived and we had made a reservation. The food was rushed out, cold and dried out. A drink was spilled on one of our guests, a large serving tray was dropped and dishes broke near us. The wine was overpriced at $27 a glass. The server was very nice but scattered and unprofessional as he told us the issues in the back room. It was the worst experience we have ever had at RJ’s. Sadly, the new ownership do not seem to understand the importance of hospitality and quality like Steve did in the past. We won’t be back. Their loss is 529’s gain.

Food tasted bland and wine had a massive mark up to it which made it a very costly visit without the feeling of it being worth it. We also had to wait forever to get to the table and clearly they were having issues with seating people. Once seated the ambience was good and the server was very good to us.

Gravy on mash potatoes would of been a nice addition plus dessert was always included in the past. Also warm buns would be so nice.

It is always a experience, love the table settings. Staff was very attentive. Food was good. A little pricey but then again costs have gone up.
