   The magic of this beautiful, quaint, spot tucked under a giant rubber tree in Puerto Vallarta starts at the front door. Upon entering you are literally dwarfed by one of the largest rubber trees you will ever see, especially in such an urban setting! The beautiful floor of the entrance to the restaurant lights your way through to a serene, if not somewhat plain setting inside. Outside on the back patio, a gorgeous green mural on the large privacy wall echos the tree out front, balancing the space. Twinkly lights contribute to the ambience and romance of the outdoor terrace which overlooks the kitchen. The service was amazing from start to finish. Always present but never rushing. Perfectly timing each dish. No waiting for water or drinks or the check. The server suggested some appetizers and so we started off with two empanadas which were adorned with a tasty, slightly spicy tomato sauce. The octopus was incredible, not over cooked or rubbery, but tender and flavorful, charred a bit to balance the sauce. The Mahi entree special with caviar and lime sauce was incredible. Sides of cauliflower and green beans were equally special in their own way, creamy and perfectly seasoned and acidic with granita crunch on the beans. The amazing French rose wine was very affordable. We each had two glasses. And the dessert!! OMG. the chocolate ice cream was the best I've ever had. The other three flavors were also delicious but the chocolate stole the show. All for about $60/head. Incredible.

   This restaurant is a diamond in the rough. It is likely the best restaurant we have had dinner in Puerto Vallarta. To start out The appetizers were off the chart. The homemade bread with Eggplant, Pate and creamy butter set the stage that something marvelous was coming… The arugula salad was so amazingly tasty. The Ribeye was the best I have ever tasted and perfectly prepared. And I am from cow county in Colorado where the meat is amazing, so that is saying a lot. We had a bottle of Santo Tomas gran reserve Unica cabernet - Merlot blend to top the dinner off. Do not miss this treat if you are looking for something that is very memorable.

   Fresh food, executed at very high level. Definitely one the best values in PV. The Wood fired steak and tuna special are two of my favorite meals in PV

   Walking in the front door sets you up for what's to come. The glass floor is different, strik8ng and a little unsettling. The high walled back patio is lovely with tables spaced out for some privacy. The menu is unique with creative dishes that offer familiarity with a twist. The kitchen's use of the grill is evident throughout. Service was friendly and professional. A modest wine list with a good range that keeps prices affordable. We will continue to return on a regular basis.

    Best meal in PV by far!! Amazing service from the minute we arrived, warm and knowledgeable. Creative food. Bread was warm and so flavorful with tasty sides. Grilled Caesar best ever had. Amazing soft shell crab tacos. Crab perfectly crispy, delightful kimchi and perfect tortilla. Pasta with short ribs amazing. Everything incredibly flavorful and delicious. Highly recommend best in PV!!!
