Food was sub-standard and tasteless. Tapas it may be, but the premium price point for each small dish does not equal to premium quality. Although heavily seasoned, the prawns had a consistency of rubber and the lamb was lukewarm and incredibly bland. Service was fine, our waitress was attentive and chatty. The wine list and drinks menu were ‘under review’ so our selection was small. Club-like music is played at high volume which makes for a strange ambience - maybe an attempt to get diners in the mood for a better Saturday night experience elsewhere? I wouldn’t recommend. Try another Soho offering.

Sitting opposite The Groucho Club, perfect for people watching, particularly celebs, one can sit here in this contemporary light and airy Barcelona-esque brasserie and have stunning food at very reasonable prices, super service too!!

As always, the octopus was excellent - we are happy to return here just for this dish! Service was a bit uneven as it took forever for water glasses to be refilled - in one case we had to go to the counter to request this.

This used to be my favourite tapas place in Soho, with creative tasty dishes, happy attentive service and good value. All of those elements have now disappeared sadly. Slow service, zero staff engagement along with shrinking potions and flavour left me feeling incredibly underwhelmed. There appears to be a total lack of management here now...such a shame as this used to be a neighbourhood gem.

This was a bit of a strange one. Some good elements, and some pretty poor. The Good - The food. All dishes we had were flavourful and nicely presented. I also like the open kitchen, always good to watch them do their stuff. But that's kind of where it ended. Service was fine, without being excellent but the restaurant feels like they need to spend some money on it. Wobbly tables and chairs, the tables couldn't be fixed with inserting a napkin under a leg as it was basically just on the way to being broken. Pretty unforgivable for me, I hate a wobbly table during eating. I get the fact they are aiming for a bohemian look, but that does not mean that the tables and chairs should feel like they are about to give up on you (It took 3 attempts to find a chair that was semi-ways stable). Equally, the pedal bin to put your paper towels after a trip to the loo was broken, defeating the purpose of having a pedal bin, you've then got to touch the lid to open it, I'm sure countless others have done too. So all in all, 3 stars out of 5 seems fair to me as it wasn't terrible, just could be so much better with a touch of care.

Really, really disappointed with this place. Taking up prime real-estate on Soho’s Dean St. you expect a certain level of food and service. Not once did the waiting staff ask how our food was as I suspect they already know the response. The ‘highlight’ was the prawns - served in a tray containing firelighters - yum, the taste of paraffin! Someone needs to tell the kids in the kitchen (and i suspect they were straight out of catering college) that the firelighters are supposed to go under the dish not in it. I watched two other tables struggle with a bowl of prawns uncontrollably on fire. When you have to leave feedback for the chefs not to put petrol into dishes you know the place is beyond saving. Oh - and it’s not cheap either - all in all, it’s a fail.

I run a Members' Club and Concierge service and have been recommending Rambla to a lot of my members. My last visit was awful and I will be removing Rambla from that list. They have a pretty compact menu and did not have 3 of the dishes on that menu available which is quite a lot! Service was really poor - staff seemed uninterested and were inattentive. It was also empty - so no excuses. Rambla really needs to step up.

Spinach croquetas, octopus, tuna all excellent. Food decent value, wine a little pricey, but then again, this is Soho. Great evening, would certainly recommend.
