Ramen-san is a bold and energetic neighborhood joint that slings hot noodles, ice-cold beer and rare expressions of Japanese whisky all to the tune of the best ’90s hip-hop in town. It respects the traditions but keep things uniquely untraditional in its yuzu sake bombs, crispy dumplings, spicy kimchi fried ramen and more. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and late-night dining.

Perfect everything! Good menu selection with good appetizers. The ramen had the greatest flavors and add in options. Awesome service and the ambience fit perfect. 10/10

Restaurant was solidly full but the staff couldn’t keep up. I’m not sure if they were short staffed but everything took some time to arrive. Once it did, everything tasted wonderful.

They could not follow instructions with food we had allergies too and had to send it out 3 times. Then they didn’t take it off the bill or do anything at all!! Horrible customer service!!

1st time customer here. One problem was that our order was forgotten. The order was sitting there and was never brought out. The server informed us the problem and told us they had to make a new order and will be delayed. What can you do right? So we waited and it came out perfect. In the end, the server deducted a good $25 off the check due the inconvenience. Would I come back - sure. They fixed the problem and food was great.

Amazing experience all around! The food was delicious, the waiter gave great suggestions. Love coming here while we are shopping on Michigan Ave.

Great food and the music playlist is awesome! I really love the dumplings and chicken nuggets. This place is one of my favorites!

My partner and I like getting an app, a ramen, and a roll. If we are really hungry we add a bun. Love their buns!! Tried all except the tofu, pork belly is my favorite! Tuna and avocado tartare is a perfect starter with the wanton sesame crisps. My personal favorite is the kimchi and fried chicken ramen add a molten egg with spice on the side, allows you to control the heat. 10 hours tonkatsu is a second fan favorite. Their limited edition ramen tend to be a hit as well. We find that to be the perfect combo every time!
