   I am a restaurant fanatic but I had never been to Rampolidi before. In fact as a REGULAR at the Atlantic Grill for many, many years, I never even knew that their "front room" had become an entirely new and completely magical space (I always chose the "back room" when I went to A.G. because it was so quiet and serene, and of course their front room was anything but). However last night I randomly chose "Rampoldi" because it was near Lincoln Center, where we had tickets for an 8:30 show. WHAT A REVELATION !! My date, who is hard to please, loved the beautiful space and loved the food. Me too !! Christina, who was at the front desk, was not only charming & welcoming but incredibly helpful (I had requested the best situated table for 2 deaf people, and she delivered!). The service was spectacular and the dinner was sublime. My guest, who is NOT easy to please, kept exclaiming over and over about how great the food was, and so did I ! I had a sublime salad to start, and salmon as my main dish, both were excellent. I was thrilled to see Brussels sprouts on the menu as a side, since I love them, and then was blown away that the serving was so generous-- For the first time in my life, I would have asked for a takeaway bag-- but resisted only because those seated near us at Lincoln Center might have noticed the aroma of cooked food ! I also should add that as a cosmo lover, who only has a drink on a very special occasion, my cosmo was as sublime as the food. We both loved this restaurant and since I live just 2 blocks away, I can promise you MANY repeat visits !! What a remarkable dinner in every way, I can't thank you enough !!

   What a great find! This place has only been opened for one year but it should definitely been in your consideration level. Both classic and hip. Classy all the way. Good delish. Great wine selection and the service was impeccable. Coming back as often as I can .

   My friend and I came here for the prix-fixe dinner menu before our play at Lincoln Center Theater. I had the bisque/soup which was okay, and the wild salmon with vegetables and the ice cream praline dessert. The salmon was so tender and so delicious with the mustard butter sauce I was in heaven. The dessert was delicious too. I also had Prosecco which was very good. My friend had the calamari and a pasta dish, which she enjoyed! My only complaint was that we mentioned we had an 8 pm curtain and we had arrived at 6 pm. Not sure why it took an hour for our dinner to be served, but I felt a bit rushed having to eat dinner and dessert in a half hour so we could get to the play on time.

   If you want a very quiet, pretty ,romantic experience-go,but… very la-di-da. Be prepared to have your table crumbs scraped multiple times whether it needs it or not. Outstanding: acorn squash soup( next time(if).. Id ask for no amaretto cookie bits.Fabulous flavor. Caesar salad-ok, not great. Whipped potatoes-excellent. Beef-my partner thought-very good. French Spritz-also very good. The place is dripping in gorgeous light fixtures-Murano glass & a complimentary Aperol colored lighting emanating from the retro bar.”chocolate cake” is a sweet crunchy brownie-not a slice of cake. Some items very expensive. Great soup & decent salad-ok value.

   What a surprise to find such a gem for Lincoln Center dining. The food was excellent, the service was really terrific, and the decor and ambiance were stunning. The lighting was perfect and the noise level was low. You could really have conversations. Seating was very comfortable and spacious. A very relaxing and pampered experience at a very good price, decor is elegant and classy. I’ll definitely be back. This may be my new “go to” place for Lincoln Center dining.

   We had an excellent experience here for our anniversary. Will be a new staple for us, should have a Michelins star for all of its quality!

   It was our 1st time at this restaurant, but we really enjoyed. Everything we ordered was delicious, beautiful ambiance, great service. Most other restaurants in Manhattan of the same caliber are more expensive. We will definitely be back!

    Excellent choice for pre-theatre dining while at Lincoln Center. The food was delicious, our server was attentive and the pre-theatre prix fixe menu offered a nice selection of options, including cocktails for a very fair price. We never felt rushed, but were smoothly in and out right on time for our evening performance. We will definitely be back again!
