Rasoi opened in 2006 and quickly established itself as a neighborhood family restaurant serving regional cuisines of India.
Our menu embodies a unique blend of ethnic and progressive dishes with vegetarian at its heart but also offering meat, poultry and seafood dishes, mostly designed for sharing.

Another great meal at Rasoi! My stomach was a bit unsettled, so I went for what I think of as Indian comfort food...idli sambar, lentils, rice, and saag. A meal for me is not complete without a Rasoi green salad.

Tried the new Saturday vegan thali, which has replaced the buffet. I've enjoyed the Saturday vegan buffet for years and was eager to try this new dish. I was not disappointed! It includes some of my favorites, such as sambar and uttapem as well as new items like a vegan korma. There was no vegan dessert available so I was able to substitute vegan naan, a great swap, imo. The lemon basmati rice was absolutely delicious! I ordered my usual Rasoi green salad, which made for a bit too much food for me. I'll have the thali again, happily, but will probably skip the salad...or maybe Rasoi can offer a smaller salad on weekends?

The Chef-Entrepreneur is amazing and has been consistently improving the food, service and ambience. You don’t see many such restaurants around the Boston area. It’s a tough business to be in and the pandemic threw a huge wrench on top of it. These guys are amazing!
