    This is one of my favorite restaurants. I had guests in town and chose Ray's. We had a party of 7 and the service was slow. The section we were seated was warm, and the air conditioner was not working properly. They did have floor fans to help with cooling the area. The server took our drink orders first. We ordered 2 Espresso Martinis along with other drinks. He came back to take food orders and stated they have a lot of large groups and suggested we put orders for all food to get food quickly. When he bought out the Espresso Martinis, there was obviously a difference as one was light brown and the other looked like black coffee. When the server was asked if they were the same, his response was, "I don't know, I didn't make them." I felt the comments were of poor taste and dismissive when there was an obvious visual difference in the drink. The server came back to let us know they were out of the chicken. He brought out the appetizers later. Once again, he came back to the table and said they were out of calamari. He's was very eager to let us know it was not his fault and we could speak with the manager. As we did and the manager came out to speak with us 15 minutes later. The manager apologized for being out of food and offered a substitute. He appeared to be tired and beat down. I'm sure he was with the complaints as the table next to us was unhappy with their service as well. He did his best to rectify the situation, and the service at this point was better. The food was good and my guests enjoyed their meals. I was happy they did. My only complaint was that the warm butter cake was not warm at all. It was served frozen. I will be back and not hold this one bad experience against such a good establishment.

    Ray’s does not disappoint when it comes to the food. Service was so so. Not the best, not the worst. Server was super nice and made up for mistakes-just could have been better. Food really made up for the night as a whole.

    Rays was very good. We had the Hot seafood platter and the Delmonico Steak Medium well. The steak was delicious, tender and cooked perfectly for my husband and I. We wanted the cold seafood tower but were told that they did not have most of the items that goes on the cold seafood tower so we decided to go either the hot seafood platter. This included oysters rockerfella, crab cakes, lobster bites, shrimp and calamari. Everything tasted good but the fried seafood had to much breading on it for us. We also had the creamed spinach. It was great! One of the best I have ever tasted. Our waiter, Taylor, was very good. He was funny and engaging. He definitely added to our positive experience at Rays in the City.

    Everything was great except for the bugs flying around inside the restaurant for dinner. But the food and service was fantastic

    I went with my friends for my birthday! It was really nice i enjoyed the food and ambiance! There was one waitress that really stood out her name is Ari she was so sweet and personable. She made sure everyone around her was taken care of and went beyond the call of duty

    Wonderful meal on our first trip to Atlanta. Our servers, Chris and Alexis, were awesome and could not have been more helpful. We’ll definitely come back if we get down there again.

    Genuinely one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The food was absolutely phenomenal and totally worth it for the price. I had been wanting to do a nice dinner for my boyfriend for so long and this absolutely blew both of our expectations out of the water. Will absolutely be coming back every year after Momocon!
