   We had a wonderful dining experience on a quiet Monday night for a special celebration. Atmosphere was lovely, service was wonderful, food was delicious. Will be back!

   My boyfriend and I enjoy it a lot. Despite living an hour away, it was worth the drive and the experience. There was nothing we didn't like about it and we will definitely return.

   Food was outstanding. Service was good. I requested recognition for a birthday and no one shared that with our waiter (who otherwise provided great service) so that was a little disappointing. Menu options are limited, but everyone enjoyed their food. I will return, just not specifically to celebrate a special occasion.

   Food, drinks, and service were great! Went during what seemed to be the busiest dinner time on New Year’s Eve and the service was still quick and friendly. The whiskey lounge in the far back of the first floor was a great spot to relax before and after dinner. We will definitely go back again!

   I will preface that this is a fine establishment and we have dined here quite a bit. However, our New Year’s Eve experience was lackluster at best. The waiter was pleasant but service was something else. My wife’s steak knife did not appear before the entree was served, entrees(steak) came out luke warm and he forgot to order our entree sides and offered no apologies. Sides eventually came out halfway through our meal so definitely dampened the mood. That said, still a good restaurant with nice ambiance.

   Went for an early New Year’s Eve dinner, enjoying the main dining room, despite the somewhat loud atmosphere, had a Great evening. The beet salad was exceptional, as was the tuna crudo & the Lamb loin special. Service was on point & friendly; Will come again,..!

   My date and I had a wonderful time together having dinner. The environment was very nice and food was good. The server was attentive and friendly and always had a big smile on her face. I would recommend The Rec Pier Chop House

    $18 for average martini. $20 for 1 jigger brandy. Fishes were ok. 4 scallops $48 $75 NY strip. Less than 1 inch thick. No crust no char. I could do better myself No comparison to Capital Grill , Prime Rib , Ruth’s Chris. No baked potatoes no augratin no creamed spinach. Charged for bread Small menu. Never going back
