A lot’s happened since we opened our doors in 1848, and I guess you could say we’ve seen it all. From dirt road to plank road to railroad, Red Circle Inn has been serving up good food with good service for generations of people in Lake Country. Over the years, we’ve been a stomping ground for traders, trappers, settlers, working class, high class and everyone in between. There’s so much history in these walls, you can almost taste it.

It was former owner Captain Fred C. Pabst who gave Red Circle Inn its name and iconic red circle logo, a nod to his Pabst Brewing Company. He made the restaurant the place to see and be seen around the lakes, not just for a beer, but for high-quality food and warm hospitality.

Over 170 years later, the legacy lives on. As you enjoy your meal and the nostalgia of Red Circle Inn, you’ll learn why guests have been returning, generation after generation. Some might call Red Circle Inn a legend…that’s fine by us.

    This is an incredible gem. Food is fantastic and the service is amazing. The only challenge is that the dining room acoustics need to be addressed. It was a busy Saturday night with every table filled. It was incredibly hard to hold a conversation with our friends without seriously raising our voices.

    This was an amazing experience. Went for Sunday Supper menu. Great value and the food was over the top exceptional. Kai, our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. He share the history of the oldest supper club in Wisconsin. We were not rushed and the meal was evenly spaced. We will be back.

    Always a great experience at the red circle in, have never had a bad experience or complaint. We will be more of a regular customer!

    What a great evening. Sat in the bar area and were very well taken care of by Quinton. He makes the best drinks! 3 steaks and salmon were had. All cooked to perfection and seasoned appropriately. Get the JoJo potato, you won’t regret it. The mashed are old school and very good, but the JoJos win. Brandy peppercorn sauce for the steak is delicious. Can’t wait to come back.

    The wine pairing dinner is so nice with one large table giving us a chance to meet other people and have good conversation. Having an employee from the vineyard introduce the wine courses was very helpful. The food courses were introduced by the executive chef. The food was very good and in generous portions. The entire staff is friendly and very attentive. The restaurant is beautiful! A real classic gem.
