The bartender was inattentive. The waitress took almost 15 minutes to arrive at our table from the time we sat down and ignored us. Most of the evening the restaurant was half full, and yet it took almost an hour and a half to deliver our entrées a glass of wine That was ordered with the meal took almost 30 minutes to arrive after the food was delivered. For the price of the entrées service needs to be improved significantly very disappointed, complementary dessert does not make up for poor service.

The food was amazing. The Burrata and prosciutto salad was incredible and melted in your mouth. The staff was attentive and helpful. Water was refilled consistently. We will definitely be back.

Went here for thanksgiving and truly regret it, not as expected while my appetizer was great the rest of it for my friend friend was a total disaster( didn’t say anything then because it was thanksgiving somewhat busy and didn’t want to inconvenience the staff) tuna tartare was great but plenty to wonder from The “butternut squash soup” which consisted of a brown liquified oily broth with clumps of white uncooked polenta. My entree of the beef ribs was not tasty , uncooked polenta and braised meat that was not specified in the menu( I completely Despise braised beef) . My friend’s filet mignon was dried & bland , not butterfly cut as it was ordered. Drinks were pricey but great, cappuccino clearly from the nespresso pods from its sour / bitter after taste. We asked for olive oil / butter for the bread , initially denied / told by busboy “they didn’t have any “ yet table next to me had a bottle of it. AVOID THE BEEF ROBS & POLENTA / BUTTERNUT SOUP IS JUST A WATERED DOWN CHILLY OIL PASTE. Restaurant need deep through cleaning, lots of dad bugs on the lamps.

Considering that we had dinner on Thanksgiving at 6pm, it would be easy to forgive any inconsistencies due to how difficult it is to have a full staff, BUT if the restaurant was understaffed, you'd never know. Service was impeccable, and the food was amazing. If you made me come up with any "miss" it was that we didn't get bread, while I did see other tables get some delicious looking rolls. Having nitpicked about the bread, I have to admit that the portions were large enough that I probably had no room for even a single roll. So, still 5 stars!!!!! This was our first visit, but we're already planning a return. Great location, great food, great staff.

Thanksgiving dinner at Red Horse was excellent. The options for appetizers and entrees was terrific and a decent value for a holiday. The lobster dumplings were sublime and the filet mignon was tasty albeit a tad undercooked. I asked for medium rare and it was closer to rare. The service was attentive and friendly. Definitely will consider Thanksgiving there next year.

Absolutely no blame to the waitstaff and keep in mind that it was also a holiday, but there were several pretty large mistakes made with our table. When they brought us bread rolls, there was no butter on our table or being offered. It took almost an hour and a half to receive our entrees after the appetizer course and no one came by to explain or apologize for this for a very long time (eventually we found out there was a mixup in the kitchen). When dessert was brought none of us had any utensils (although the server said she’d go get us some quickly). In addition to this, I found a lot of the food relatively bland and my friend’s prime rib didn’t seem to feature horseradish sauce which was mentioned on the menu. They did bring us free salads before the entree after they realized we were still waiting, which was nice, and then removed our coffees from the bill at the end. Our server was very nice and apologized many times, and the ambiance, music, seats, etc were all lovely.

An otherwise good experience was marred by a rocky start upon arrival — along with a few weird problems with the *furniture*, of all things. Arrived at 3:55pm for a 4:00pm reservation on Thanksgiving Day. Had to wait at least 15 minutes to be seated. Not happy, especially after receiving multiple reminders on multiple days prior, from the restaurant itself and from Open Table reminding me about the reservation. (So I arrive on time, but YOU’RE not ready?? Finally (!), we were led to our table, and before we could sit down, the host was fiddling with the underside of the table (?!?). Apparently it was one of those tables that has edges on hinges so that the sides can be raised to make a round table, or folded under to make a square table. The host was trying to fold one edge of table under, but it wouldn’t operate properly. He had to kneel on the floor to try to fix it, to no avail. Awkward! Edge was left hanging *vertically* on one side. Thankfully ours was a party of 3, so none of us were relegated to sit at the malfunctioning table side. But, this whole incident was a bit strange, no? And then, during dinner, yet another “furniture moment” arose (??) when I watched as 2 servers removed 2 dining chairs from a different table, taking them to the back of the room. Once they got the chairs to the back of the room, several loud sounds ensued involving those chairs. Don’t know what happened or why, but I definitely developed the impression that this very pricey restaurant has purchased very cheap tables and chairs! Thankfully, our food and server were fine during the meal — no substantive complaints there. It was just those first 20 minutes or so in this restaurant that were jarring. My first time at Red Horse. What’s that old saying: You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression?!? Hmmm……

It was very busy for Thanksgiving I was glad to have a table near the bar as it was quieter. The food was okay as usual. My family had the prime rib which they enjoyed. I had the scallop dish with butternut squash ravioli. The ravioli was undercooked and the pasta was too thick. The scallops were great, but the hot dish was dressed in a wilted salad which i did not like.
