   I like that they took reservations for Mother’s Day. The hostess was very friendly and let us know our table would be ready after a short wait. We went at 5PM and had a wonderful booth. It wasn’t too crowded at that time, which I believe was due to the time of day and the fact that they took reservations. The server was excellent (helpful, friendly and kind) and explained how busy they’ve been all day and asked our patience, which we appreciated and were happy to oblige. Our food came out in a timely manner and was delicious! The only things that could have been improved were: small plates for bread and utensils for crab legs were not immediately available because they were being washed; and the crab legs tasted like there lacked seasoning. Everything was great and we enjoyed our visit.

   Red Lobster restaurant in Monroeville, Pa. On Sunday, May 11, 2025 around 1.30 PM, my wife and I dined at this store. Our server was Lisa. She brought me a lobster shell cracker with a piece of brown paper towel stuck on one side. When I asked her, why she gave me that unacceptable item to me, her response was, she washed it with a paper towel and a piece of paper stuck on it. She should have said, she failed to inspect and clean the cracker before giving it to me. Lisa served me a lobster tail that was undercooked so I took it home to reheat. The crab body, legs and two claws were very small. I do not recommend them. Lisa said she will bring me another zero Coke. Several minutes later, my wife caught Lisa’s attention and told her I want another zero Coke. Lisa said she forgot to bring it and in about 5 minutes later, she brought it to me. I ordered the Brownie Overboard dessert. It consisted of three brownies with vanilla ice cream with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. Contrary to the picture in the Red Lobster app, Lisa did not give us the caramel nor the cherry. Nevertheless, we liked it. Note: The take-food-home containers consist of a plastic hinged clear top with a black bottom. The containers are microwave and dishwasher, they work well.

   It was an excellent Valentine's Day Dinner for my wife and I. The server and service was better than I thought it would be on such a busy holiday. Kudos!!

   On January 2, 2025, we dined at the Red Lobster restaurant located in Monroeville, Pa. Mr. Julian was our server. I had the Create Your Own Ultimate Feast with salmon, snow crab legs, six-grilled shrimp skewer with rice pilaf, six-shrimp scampi, two orders of steamed broccoli and unsweetened iced tea. My wife had Atlantic salmon, steamed broccoli, baked potato and lemonade. We shared six cheese biscuits and a slice of Key Lime pie. The service Julian provided and the taste of the food, and beverages were so great, we are looking forward to enjoying those experiences again - very soon.

   While overall the dining experience was fine, there is a couple of things that I would like to address. First the stuffed mushrooms were not consistent. Some of the mushroom caps were too small for stuffing. Second, the rice that was served with the grilled salmon was in the warmer too long and was on the dry side. The salmon was done to perfection and the side of brussel sprouts were to die for. So overall our dining experience earned a four star rating.

   It was ehhhhhhh - the new menu changes were really not all for the better. Everything was just eh - not great, not terrible. Probably won't be back.
