   Extremely poor customer service. No management just a chef who serves under the owner. Parillas can be amazing if served correctly. Everyone who knows how to properly cook a parilla knows to serve the meat cooked under what was requested. If I request my steaks to be cooked medium they should be cooked medium rare because the Parilla tray obviously continues to cook them. Not a hard concept to understand. With that being said our Entire parilla was overcooked $90 worth of meat absolutely wasted. Now my wife and I did not make a big deal of this instead we only requested that the new York strip be remade and just dealt with the the rest of the poorly prepared food. The response we got was a resounding no they refused to replace the steak that was improperly cooked to what we requested. Instead offered a desert in lieu of. Makes more sense now why nobody dined all evening but us, obviously the restaurant mus be hurting for money to refuse to re-make a single steak . To make matters worse I went in and brought the parilla to show the chef that the entire tray except the Picanha was dried out and overcooked and I said this very kindly without being rude to which I was cursed out by the chef in front of all the staff in the retsaraunt and told we are no longer welcome at Renzos. Please do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to dine. We enjoy fine dining but this is not it. If you want a delicious fine dining experience please look elsewhere there are so many better options. The chef here does not know how to cook and certainly has never heard of customer service. We feel so bad for our server as well we stil tipped her very generously and she was apologizing profusely for the chef/managers behavior you could tell she has dealt with this in the past from him.

   Our service was excellent! Our waitress was attentive, and very friendly. The food wasn’t great. I have been to Renzo’s before and was very disappointed this time around. We ordered two Renzo’s Parrillas. All the meats were cold when they came out. The salad was bathed in dressing, it was hard to eat it. The chicken drumsticks were unseasoned. The cuts of meat were chewy and hard to eat. We ended up adding salt to all the meat because it was all under seasoned. The best part was the yuca fries and the croquetas we started with.

   So it is not bad for a trendy Argentine/South American experience. I lived in Argentina for a little while and used to Argentine food. The empanadas were decent and what would be expected. Ordered a Parilla and a few other appetizers. Nothing was bad but nothing was great or exceptional. In the United States the steak cuts just don’t live up to what you get in Argentina but fine for the price in the United States. Wine options were good. It is a good option if hungry as you will be full but don’t expect too much if you are used to the experience in Argentina or higher end options in the United States.

   The margaritas and sausage platter appetizer were good, but the service was terrible. We left and had dinner somewhere else.

   We’ve been to Renzo’s several times and it’s always been a pleasurable experience but this time my Milanesa seemed a bit dry but the Spinach Ravioli my wife had was very good. Service was excellent as ever, Camila very attentive and personable. Desert, Brûlée Trio, again a bit dry but when you add the trio of liquors Hazelnut, Limoncello and Amaretto “much more better” All in all a very good evening and will surely return. Renzo’s is one of our favorite restaurants in St Pete

    Service was great ambience was impeccable stay away from the lamb chops. Asked for medium well, they came out medium. Ask them to cook a bit more and came back medium rare. And severely under seasoned.
