Next... select from Red Endive & Mirin Glazed Green Apple Spheres, Caesar Style Wedge Salad or a Roasted Beet Carpaccio Arugula Salad.     Great cocktails, the focaccia bread is amazing and everyone in our 5 member party found their entree delicious! The setting is wonderful and the big fireplace was a welcome addition to our winter dining.

    Great experience overall. Unique dishes and pretty tasty. Most customers including myself had their coat on. When you see this you might want to turn up the heat. When paying $40 plus a person you don’t want to freeze.

    The evening started off a little rocky as they tried to sit the two of us next to a guy laying a piano and not very well. We started to leave and they found us a new table. The star of our evening was a delightful waiter named Ryan whose pairings and other suggestions were right on. The standout dishes of the night were sesame shrimp appetizer, mole sauce on filet mignon and a chocolate mousse. We will definitely return to this establishment they just need to let the musicians know they are background not the main event.

    We have eaten at this restaurant many times over the past 10 years. Last night was an interesting experience. My elk was the most amazing dish I’ve ever had except that it arrived, rare when I asked for medium, and the vegetables were cold. We had a 6 o’clock reservation on a Saturday night, which we will never do again. We didn’t want to sit right next to the piano of course. So we had to wait 40 minutes at the bar, which was OK because the bartender was wonderful as well as the hostess. Our waiter was clearly in the weeds. But I would recommend to management that in the future that they would tell the waiter that the guests had been waiting for quite a while.  because when he was out of the weeds, it would’ve been good to get a little more attention, especially when we were waiting for the bill. The salad was by far the best salad I’ve ever had there and the shrimp was outstanding. I don’t know what happened to the crème brûlée. It was pretty watery and a bit overdone on the top. I’m sure that the owners and management will work out the kinks. But given that we rarely go out, it was a bit of a mixed bag.

    Fantastic dinner for a special occasion! The wild boar chop and peppermint elk were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Thought the peppermint would be overpowering but it was subtle and complimented the gaminess. Soufflé and mille feuille were the perfect end. I do wish the matcha dumplings were larger and more matcha-forward. The pianist was delightful (lots of Elton John covers and the odd addition of Tomorrow from Annie).

    This is one of the most underrated restaurants in Colorado. The chef is amazing. The food is so creative. The ambiance is so cute.

    Excellent drinks, unique and delicious appetizers, and great succulent duck. Wonderful bartender and server Dominic and a visit to table from Rand the chef/owner who was a delight to talk to.
