   The ambience and hospitality of the server were quite good. However, I would not recommend this restaurant. First, their prices are ridiculous for the tiny portions they serve. I actually reserved this restaurant because of a sashimi platter they displayed on their website. I am pescatarian. Only for me to show up and almost every picture of meals on their website was not available. I was informed that their menu changes every 3 months. Well, instead of the bait and switch, why not update your website to reflect what you currently serve??? Then, because I stay at the W, I also decided to have breakfast there. Omelet with avocado and berries cost almost $65; not to mention that the server had the nerve to automatically apply an 18% surcharge to my bill because according to him "it's a service charge". And he said it in such a way as to suggest it's necessary. I am sure not coming back to this over-hyped restaurant!

   We were a group of 12. The food was great and overall we enjoyed our experience but the service was lacking (the server was confused about the menu, there were no drink menus on the table when we arrived, we had to ask our server twice for them, she was going to take the food order before the drink order, she didn’t pick up our food menus once we ordered so we had to stash them on our chairs, etc.). It was a positive experience overall but would have appreciated appropriate service.

   I used to review restaurants on socio media and it was my first time .my experience wasn’t good at all.The wait was insane.Everyboday complaining about the wait the main course.Wouldnt return definitely

   C'était le 70ieme anniversaire de mon père. J'ai réservé le salon privé. Rendue sur place, je constate qu'on nous a placé dans la salle. On me dit à l'accueil que c'est un problème de communication. On me dit qu'on peut nous déplacer, je vois que mes grandes tantes et oncles ont déjà des consommations sur la table, je suis propriétaire de restaurant, c'est mon domaine, donc rendu là, c'est non, on ne déplace pas, ça va juste gâcher le "mood" des invités. J'ai gardé ça en dedans et me suis dirigée vers la table. Dans tous les cas, je n'ai jamais compris en quoi c'était un problème de communication quand la réservation spécifie qu'on a réservé le salon privé. Voilà, sinon, l'expérience était bien, je suis juste déçue.

   Food has a unique flavor and exquisite attention to detail in plating. For a business meal, it did not cater to all palates, and service was very slow. Ambience was beautiful and perhaps better suited for a late night date.

   We had the Sirloin menu item at $39 each. ( The steak was actually a Striploin.) It was very small, fatty and no more than 1/2 of an inch thick. It was disappointing because the venue and service was very good.

   Sunday night dinner: (3 appetizers + 4 mains 4 cocktails + 2 deserts) x outstanding service by Jamie = a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend it!

   Just not a good experience. Understaffed, a few dishes were decent but nowhere close to deserving of price point. I rarely write reviews, this was a real miss.

    Had a great and very well-versed server, Jamie. He carefully explained the full menu and all the unique aspects of each dish. Wines on offer were pretty diverse, with a slight emphasis on organic/natural/biodynamic producers, but the list is rather short. Nevertheless, good pairing options exist throughout. I had the oysters and the house-made leek and celery root agnolotti with coppa. Both were quite good, the oysters especially. Only detractor was what seemed to be a night club next door, the music of which was pumped straight to each table. It was an odd juxtaposition: Very refined Piedmontese pasta dish, sensual Mont Redon Lirac in the glass ... and Biggy and Tupac in my ear. Perhaps to some folks, that's not a critique. At times I even enjoyed it. But I do think that for certain weekend clientele, this would be info they'd want to know. Altogether, a very fine experience with well-tuned cuisine.
