For three decades the name Riccio has been synonymous with fine dining in the desert. Richard and Patricia Riccio set the bar for outstanding Italian cuisine 40 years ago when they opened the original Riccio’s in uptown Palm Springs. Two of their sons, eager to carry on the family tradition, last spring unveiled Riccio’s Steak and Seafood with a new menu concept in a higher profile location downtown. Service and personal attention have been the Riccio’s hallmark and they pledge to continue this tradition.

For the casual diner, Riccio’s offers a relaxed patio presentation for watching downtown Palm Springs unfold while sampling their intriguing, seasonally changing menu. Riccio’s bar faces lively Palm Canyon Drive, and picture windows frame a sculptural fountain.

The best calamari we have given it a 10 rating the best. Jaimie our server was spectacular and very attentive. Hector the bartender makes the best martinis 🍸🍸🍸 Thank you Danny for a wonderful evening 👍👍👍👍

Food was incredible, Vodka Penne was very flavourful, and Filet Mignon was cook perfectly. Homemade Tiramisu was a perfect way to cap off the meal. Service was very friendly, perfectly timed when they came to the table.

Very nice New Year’s Eve dinner . Food was good .I had the fresh fish of the day halibut . Was good but not a fan of capers . My fault didn’t listen to how it was prepared . My wife had pear salad and clam chowder . Both excellent as she put it.. my brother had veal piccata .. he enjoyed it. Service was outstanding . Oscar our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed .. overall experience was great !!

Food was excellent. Criticism is we were rushed to finish our meal. It appeared that the restaurant was eager to turn over our table to other patrons. Food arrived very quickly. Not enough time to enjoy appetizers and drinks. We enjoyed Johnny Costa’s restaurant much more.

Good was excellent and the menu had many choices. Classic Northern Italian choices. As a woman, I would have appreciated a less-sexist server. He looked to my partner for the order, served him first, asked him what he wanted, etc. I was practically non-existent as a customer—clearly it was all about “the man at the table”. I recommend that the management discuss this with their staff. I paid the bill and tipped appropriately, but was not happy.

Very disappointing overall. Food was not served hot, service was ok. We won’t be back. Escargot was made with spinach? WTF, gross. Clam chowder was thin and cold, Marsala chicken had more garlic than anyone could stomach, bread was not fresh, had to ask for butter and then bring one super tiny container of it for 4 adults. Need I continue?

Food was excellent. Server Oscar was awesome!!! Patio dining with the lights and candles was a beautiful setting. Looking forward to the next time!! This is a real gem!

Our server was the best! I believe her name is Jamie(red hair) is one of the best servers in the valley! We always enjoy the food and atmosphere at Riccio’s! Riccio’s never disappoints!
