Richmond Station is a stopping place—a bustling neighbourhood restaurant in Toronto's downtown core. We are committed to delicious food and excellent hospitality. Founded by Top Chef Canada winner Carl Heinrich, Richmond Station is an ingredient-focused and technique-driven neighbourhood restaurant steps from the Eaton Centre and Yonge-Dundas Square. Our open kitchen invites guests to witness the craftsmanship that goes into every plate, from our signature Station Burger to our rotating chef's tasting menu.

Whether you're joining us for a casual lunch, an intimate dinner, or a celebratory gathering, Richmond Station offers a warm atmosphere that makes all feel welcome. We believe that exceptional service is an integral part of our dining experience, which is why we operate with a "hospitality included" model. This means that gratuities are not accepted, as the service cost is already reflected in our pricing. For parties of 8 or more, please email reservations@richmondstation.ca.

The $35 pasta dish was disappointing and resembled Mac and cheese with burned veggies. I forced myself to eat a third of it before giving up. Worse, however, was that the men’s and women’s toilets have been made mixed-sex and multi-user, but the urinal in what used to be the men’s room is unenclosed and the doors to the toilets in what used to be the women’s have gaps at the top and bottom. There is nothing on the door to the old men’s washrooms to indicate that it is multi user. As a result, thinking I was entering a single-user toilet room, I walked in on a man using a urinal. I was mortified and alarmed. Female clients deserve more consideration and respect.

The food was both inventive and delicious. My partner enjoyed the Nori-Cured Salmon while I savoured the Roasted Carrots—a perfect balance of flavours. For mains, my partner opted for the Chickpea Burger; while they felt the patty tasted slightly processed, I thoroughly enjoyed my Arctic Char, cooked to a tender and flavorful medium rare. We shared a creamy and indulgent Vanilla Custard for dessert—a sweet ending to a lovely meal. The ambiance was clean, uncluttered, and welcoming, with a vibrant yet relaxed energy. It was refreshing to dine among people fully immersed in enjoying a great meal rather than being distracted by social media. What stood out most was the exceptional hospitality. Every staff member we encountered made us feel genuinely valued as guests, and it was a special treat to meet the chef-owner, whose dedication to guest comfort and enjoyment is evident in every detail of the experience. Richmond Station is a gem I’m thrilled to have discovered, and I can’t wait to return for another memorable meal. I highly recommend it!

Disappointed with our experience. Service was exceptionally slow, every course took a long time to arrive, including our bottle of wine! 1.5 hours for our main course to arrive! Food was delicious. We have always had fabulous food and service, so very disappointed with our experience on Nov 25. Found wines to be incredibly expensive with very few reasonably priced wines. Shared our concerns with the staff. The response was that they had new staff in the kitchen!!

By far one of my favourite restaurants. Food is consistently excellent. Staff are all courteous, attentive and knowledgable. The fact that the tip is factored into the cost of the meal is a real bonus.

I tried the chef menu experience and it was 100% worth it. The wine pairings were spot on, featured a lot of Ontario blends, and really elevated each dish. Thank you for having me! :)
