    Not the usual level of excellence tonight. Service was very slow which has never happened before. One item of my dinner was lukewarm, again not normal for here.

    We had a great time tonight! We sat in the bar, ordered the three course meals and a bottle of wine and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Grace was our server and she was fabulous and made us feel like we were the only ones in the place. We will be back!

    I would recommend going at least once just to try but I do think that they get pretty busy at some points so it can take a while to get your food so relax and sit and enjoy for at least an hour and a half

    Service was exemplary, very knowledgeable about complete menu of options along with extremely observant regarding servicing our table. Everyone absolutely raved about the deliciousness of their meals.

    This is the most charming restaurant in the Clemson area with its outstanding food, service, and atmosphere. I live in New Orleans and have visited Clemson many times to see old friends, and we always pay a visit to Rick Erwin's. It compares with the best restaurants in my own city. The wood paneling and gentle lighting evoke for me the mood of a 1940s movie. The service is very attentive and eager to help. The menu has a great variety of delicious items. It's great!

    Tonight we had dinner and left super disappointed. We love to dine at Rick Erwin’s and drive close to 45 minutes to dine with them. Tonight we were greeted quickly by our server assistant, brought water and our server was soon to follow. We never again saw our server assistant and more than one occasion had no water for the table. One of our diners had alcohol but the other two did not and spent most of the meal with no beverages. This in my opinion spending over $100 a person is unacceptable. It made our experience tonight very disappointing. Our food was delicious but service was not acceptable for that level of establishment.
