Came here for our anniversary dinner (which we noted on the reservation) and our anniversary also happens to be Christmas Eve. Neither of us had been to Ristobar despite having lived in the area a while, but were excited to try. We ended up stuck in a dark corner table in the side room with two large, loud family parties. We ended up waiting for 40 minutes with no water and without a server stopping by. After we were finally able to order our food and we were moved to a much better table, things were looking up — until we were told 20 mins after placing our order that they ran out of our meal. We PAID for our drinks and left. Totally understand that Christmas Eve is a busy night and the team were likely short staffed, but a really disappointing experience nonetheless on the occasion.

Ristobar had a Christmas menu, so there were limited choices. The sea bass was very tasty and so were the accompanying asparagus, spinach and crispy potatoes. Very delicious food and an impressive wine list. Great service and atmosphere.

Another wonderful Xmas eve dinner! Great ambiance and excellent food. We enjoyed the special northern Italian dinner, and the attentive wait staff. All in all a festive Xmas eve dinner!

My husband had ordered the Pappardells Funghi Salsiccia. He asked the waiter if the could take the mushrooms out. He said no but that the are chopped so fine he wouldn't if know they were there. They were huge and the most disgusting mushrooms I have ever eaten and I love mushrooms but after eating some of them zi don't want a mushroom anytime soon.

Had the opportunity to celebrate an engagement with the family. Party of 12. The service was excellent. The food and drinks were fantastic. We were all members of the clean plate club! The whole party was impressed with the level of care and patience the staff had. Thank you Ristobar!

Ristobar has been a longtime favorite. Food and service are excellent as always. Unfortunately the acoustics are now just terrible. We are fine with a lively environment but their noise level is completely off the charts. We could not hear across a small table for two.

We always have a nice time at Ristobar! The food is delicious and well prepared. The service is attentive. We look forward to their Christmas Eve dinner! This is a neighborhood gem.:)
