   This was our first visit to the restaurant. The food was excellent. Very well prepared and presented. The evening started off well, but after we had a bowl of that delicious spinach egg drop soup, we waited nearly 30 minutes for our entrées. The waiter never apologized for the long wait and never checked back with us to see how our food was or if we needed a refill on our beverages. The waiter definitely needs more training, although he seemed like a veteran who had been working there a while. A terrific meal went south because of poor service. Don't get me wrong, I do plan to go back because the food was so delicious, I'll just be sure to have a different server.

   First time to Farfalla and not disappointed. The Friendly welcome, attentive and pleasant service and the excellent food made for a great Birthday celebration. The room is a bit dated and the seating is tight but that certainly doesn’t spoil what will be an enjoyable evening with great food

   Always a fabulous meal. My husband remembers a sauce that used to be on the menu and mentioned it to our waiter. He took it to the chef and he made it for him. Above and beyond which makes this restaurant one of the best!!

   Chef Michael's food is OUSTANDING! We believe the restaurant is an overlooked gem (in a small strip mall with a Publix and a Rosati's. just off of Corkscrew). He prepares an outstanding antipasta, with fresh vegetables and mozzarella; unbelievable dover sole; great veal dishes and a wonderful bolognese. The ambience is nice as well. It is easy to have a conversation in the restaurant except on packed nights like Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, etc. The one caveat is that the service can be quite slow. It took about 40 minutes to get our appetizer last night and another 30 minutes for the entree. I am thinking they need one more waiter!

   First time at this restaurant. Dinner took 3 hours—very long time between arrival & drinks, ordering food and appetizers, service re apps and main course, getting invoice and paying. We were nearly the last table in the restaurant getting our invoice and paying. Waiter had been requested to create 3 invoices but put all on one invoice and took a l-o-n-g time to create individual bills. Bruschetta ($12ish) was 4 Small pieces of bread w/ some chopped tomato—this is an Italian restaurant! Entrees were ok but overpriced for quality and quantity. Veges accompanying entree were meager in amount served but well prepared. Will not return—better choices in the vicinity.

   I have dined here many times. Tonight was extremely busy since it was Valentine's Day. t was unusual to have to wait for an entree or server but under the circumstances I can understand, Each meal is carefully prepared for the customers. and every table was full for my 7:30 reservation., ordered the Pasta with shrimp as a main course, and calamari to start. They were both excellent and well. seasoned. My wife ordered carpaccio as her appetizer that she enjoyed and the sea bass which the said was absolutely delicious. That came with a potato dish and lots of vegetables. The surprise ending was two chocolate covered strawberries that we both enjoyed. We enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine from their extensive wine list. This place is really a hidden gem that beats all the most well--kkniwn names in SW Florida in my opinion.

   Everything was great except the menu stated rack of veal and I was served on large veal chop. I assume that. Rack means more than one chop.

    Our first visit was wonderful experience. All of the staff provided outstanding hospitality. In particular, Doug, our waiter, was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The calamari fritti was light, delicious, prepared perfectly! The Chilean Sea Bass was perfectly cooked and delicious. I would prefer less liquid on the plate when served, though. While flavorful, a small piece of fish that fell from my fork caused a splash that stained both my shirt and my pants. My wife enjoyed the Chicken Valentino. The chicken was tender and flavorful. Thank you, to all of the staff, for providing an enjoyable Valentines Day dining experience. We look forward to visiting again!
