   Been here before and dining by the Rogue River is such an experience. They have laid out the restaurant to take advantage of viewing the Rogue River and with multiple layer seating, everyone is lucky enough to have the experience. The staff run up and down the stairs to the various layers of tables with food and drink with very little effort and total courtesy. The food is cooked with expertise and you really get what you pay for as the portions are generous and the food is hot when it is suppose to be hot and cold when it is suppose to be cold. We sat in the bar area which was somewhat quiet as the wind was blowing and we are particular about our food getting cold. When we were there during a quieter weather time and the since eating outside at that time, there were flying insects at times but they had little fan type items that kept them at bay and you aren't constantly batting at flies and such. As for the food, it was cooked properly, the steaks were tender, the portions generous and the service was great. All in all, you would really miss something if you didn't make reservations and eat there whenever you can. As a side note, we attended on Mother's Day and when leaving the restaurant, there were flowers for take to make a bouquet in celebration of her day.

   Overall, it was a really wonderful experience. The food could’ve been a little hotter. It seemed like maybe it had sat for a couple of minutes. But the taste was delicious. The quality was delicious. The service was excellent. Really nice time.

   Great Mothers Day ! Service is professional which is rare in Grants Pass, and food is good , better than usual in Grants Pass. Great ambience and great fo special occasions. Reservations required because the restaurant is popular.

   Another great dinner on the Rogue River at Rivers Edge an Early Mothers Day Celebration and multiple birthdays this month. Food was cooked to perfection and service was excellent! Julie C made sure everyone was taken care of and had a great time! Will be back again!

   The weather was perfect for patio dining. Our waiter, who recognized us as return customers, was personable and attentive. The music by what was to us was a new performer to the restaurant, played beautifully and not to loud my husband and I could not hear each other in conversation. But the best part of the evening was the food. My husband always loves his steak at The Edge. I am a foodie and difficult to impress however, the vegan dish was sublime. We May just have to return weekly.

   Our experience was about as close to perfection as it could get. We went for my birthday lunch and as desired, we had a table right by the river. It was the warmest day so far this spring, close to 80 degrees and we were happy to sit in the sun. Cocktails were great, especially the smoky old fashioned..the presentation was a show in itself. We decided on a feast of appetizers…shrimp cocktail (5 enormous prawns), fried artichoke hearts (crispy not greasy) and tasty pork belly. Far more than enough for two to finish. Although we were quite comfortable, I suspect our server was able to see my Scottish neck beginning to glow bright red all the way from topside so she checked to be sure I was okay and then had someone bring down an umbrella to provide shade so the “old folks” didn’t turn into crispy critters. There wasn’t one thing I would change and I recommend River’s Edge for food, ambiance, and service.

    We went for brunch when it opened at 10 am. Good service. Wasn’t crowded. Had salmon Benedict. It was excellent
