   Love making reservations - sat on the deck next to the river… started with the shrimp appetizer The shrimp were very large and delicious. Grouper blackened sandwich perfectly cooked.    We had dinner on a quiet Wednesday evening. The place is very new and it shows it. It also sits on a river bank and shoes off when the sun sets. We had a drink and then ordered our food. When our dinners arrived, mine was not what I ordered and the food deliverer was very upset and very quickly scooped up the plate and ran away, coming back in a few minutes and promising delivery of the correct item ASAP. Well, you now what that means: my wife had to eat her meal while it was fresh and hot and, of course, when my meal re-appeared she had finished. What to do in these situations, what to do?? I feel for the restaurant and I did my best to accept the situation for what it was... However, our server never approached us for the entire time from ordering to being prompted by us to provide a bill. I thought the place should have done something to appease us. They could have reduced the price, offered a free dessert (we would have politely refused), or they could have apologized for the incident. Nothing... We'll go back again because the setting and food was, indeed, very good. I hope the manager reads this review and learns from it.

   Made reservations for a family dinner for 8. I think that we each ordered something different and we all were very happy with our choices. Even though we chose indoor seating because the weather predictions weren’t good it was very open to the outdoors which made it pleasant. Our service was very attentive but not overly engaging. Overall an excellent experience!

   The waitstaff were very nice and friendly. They were also accommodating when we wanted to move in because we were cold. The mixed drinks were weak, couldn’t taste any liquor in my vodka and unsweetened tea or my friends vodka tonic. My husband and I had grouper sandwiches. They were good and the fish was not overcooked. Our friends had a burgers which also looked good. They ordered sweet potato tater tots that didn’t come until about 15 minutes after we had all finished our meal the meals also took over an hour to get. I’ve been told it’s not usually like that, but last night was not that great as far as timely service.
