   Pretentious, loud and over priced. The staff were amazing though - polite, kind, helpful. The food was ok - not terrible but not amazing; portions were very small for the price. The music was so loud - felt like we were at a club, could barely talk to each other. Lastly, the setup is awful - there didn’t seem to be a seat where you weren’t “in the way” - of the entrance, the bar, the bussing area, etc.

   The ambiance was great for a fun night out. They had a live DJ—it was loud but enjoyable. The food was good, nothing extraordinary but solid. The drinks were just okay, not great. I did order an off-menu drink, so that might have played a role. Nothing was bad, but nothing stood out as particularly special or memorable. Service was mediocre. It took the server 15 minutes just to take our drink order, and our appetizers arrived well before the drinks. The server never checked in to see if I wanted another drink. When I asked what kind of steak was in one of the appetizers because it was surprisingly tender, he had no idea. While he was nice, he felt more like a food runner than an attentive server. A minor but frustrating detail—after dessert was served, he brought out another bottle of water without asking. My glass wasn’t empty, and we were nearly done with the meal, making the extra $8 charge feel unnecessary. Ironically, this was the only time he paid real attention to the table. Overall, I wouldn’t go back. Tampa has plenty of better options. But if you’re out of choices, it’s not the worst place to end up.

   We went to Ro last year for Valentines and hadn’t been back until Valentines this year and the over quality of food has gone down. Last year we got the wagyu gyoza and ordered again this and it was good but the size was a lot smaller than last year. The avacado appetizer was very very good, and we were happy with both apps. We got the broccoli tempura and they were terrible. There was no seasoning on them and the leaves were extremely wet and bland. Highly would not recommend getting them. We each got the wagyu ribeye and when it came out the steak was cold and even after reheating it it was still lukewarm. The manager tho was extremely accommodating and gave us a round of drinks on the house and an additional little chocolate ganache cake. The service definitely saved the experience, but overall the food this year compared to last year was very disappointing and we don’t know if we will be back.

   It was so tasty and great staff and atmosphere . The nigiri was fantastic and fresh must come back for omkase lunch . I wish the drink were at little more balance in flavor profile . But over 9/10 i do recommend .

   We had a great time! The food was amazing, our drinks were equally delicious. Everyone was so nice and the many touches for Valentine’s Day were so thoughtful and sweet - from a rose to the chocolate covered strawberries and ice cream. Everyone was in the holiday spirit and it truly helped my friend and I enjoy the day.

   Interesting menu ... an eclectic blend of Asian foods ... Bao buns, noodles and a tiny sushi bar. Out of Asian beers on my visit... long list of Sakes...

    Please keep in mind we went on a Monday night to celebrate our anniversary so the noise level was low and the service exemplary. That said they seem to have enough staff that if it was a busy night they could cope well. The food was amazing, we are not sushi eaters however there were plenty of other choices. We chose four hot tasting dishes, the cucumber plate and shared a main course dish of the Bulgogi. My husband, who can be quite a picky eater enjoyed every dish whish is unusual for him. Seriously the food was delicious. I had the Rojito for a cocktail, it is the Ro spin on the Mojito and was fabulous. They had a decent wine menu and I happily indulged in a couple of glasses. Two interesting things, and neither a deal breaker, they were out of all but two beer selections (it was Monday after a busy weekend so not unusual) and there were no dessert offerings. Apparently dessert is offered by their sister restaurant, the speakeasy next door, and it is only open certain nights of the week. Again, neither were a deal breaker. They did bring a small complimentary dessert to the table which seems to be the norm for non dessert offering nights. If you haven't tried Ro yet then you should. Please note it isn't cheap however a good restaurant isn't and shouldn't be if you value interesting food, drinks and service. I feel it was worth every dime and we enjoyed our Anniversary celebration.
