   Had a fantastic meal, really nice atmosphere. Two standouts here, Catherine who was brilliant even though she was busy and the turnip soup was delightful !

   Our party of 6 enjoyed the Festive menu. Food was excellent, staff were attentive and lovely, and the atmosphere in the restaurant area was cosy and festive. Dog friendly too, so the 7th member of the party was very happy.

   Great service. High quality pub grub with great friendly service. Decent sized portions. Love this pub in the summer ☀️ but nice for a cozy dinner too. I had steak with peppercorn sauce abd cheese. Kids loved lasagne and puddings great.

   Very nice country pub which fortunately for us is our local .food very good although a touch pricey but I’ve always said pay a bit more for better food and the food is delicious Open fires which need to be on otherwise can be chilly but thankfully the staff always keep the pub nice and warm If you want a nice welcoming country pub this is the one for you Tony & Clare

   It was birthday meal. Special of liver and onion gravy was wonderful. Busy dining room was well run. Great atmosphere on a very cold night

   Lovely food which we enjoyed. We were a bit squashed in to the room with lots of other diners but it was ok. Service was mostly good until the end when we needed to pay so we went to the bar and sorted the bill ourselves, I think the staff had become distracted with a large party that had just come in.

   My first visit here since the new ownership and it was an excellent experience . Our waitress Nieve was warm and friendly and answered our questions with patience and charm. The Cullen Skink was amazing!

    Excellent Sunday lunch celebrating 2 family engagements - made even more special by the Prosecco offered by the host. Thank you! The food is delish, the service a delight. You honestly couldn't do better for a local/independent pub (with excellent grub).
