   Had a LOVELY time. Food was nothing less than spectacular and the service was amazing. Elliot, Fernando, and Haley (sorry if I messed up spelling) all stopped to check on us through our time. It was so romantic! Could not have asked for a better date night. Wish I had leftovers to take home but we ate every last bite! It truly was some of the best food and ambiance. 10/10

   There must be a new chef. The food was not the same quality as previous visits. We told our waitress of the nut and fish allergy one of the members of my party had. She said she noted it and twice that party’s food with the allergy was bought out with fish and nuts. The Frits were cold and season less. The chicken and mushrooms were both rubbery and lacked flavor. Even our favorite Brussels were hard and overly sweet. Just a very disappointing visit. Not sure if we’ll ever go back.

   Roosters is consistently great. The service is wonderful, the atmosphere is cozy, and the menu has something for everyone. With quality wine & unique cocktails, the bar area has a cool view of the kitchen & a laid back vibe. They offer outstanding sides; the potatoes au gratin are a must, but you should pick several options to share with the table! The salads are always fresh & dressed to perfection. I personally think they serve the best scallops in Charlotte, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

   We had a great "pre" Valentine's Day dinner. Hailey was an excellent server and the food was excellent!

   Service was bad… basically ignored took forever to place an order, then had to work way to hard to flag someone down for a soup spoon (yes my friend ordered soup) and salt and pepper. My pork loin was tough and dry. Then towards the end of our meal when we weee clearly engaged in a thoughtful and engaged conversation we were interrupted about 6 times in less than 3!minutes to include people leaning into our conversation and talking over us to clear things from the table. Very rude and insulting frankly. This used to be a great place to dine. We won’t be back.

   Always loved roosters but I am very disappointed in the paired down menu with limited vegetable choices . There used to be broccoli, cauliflower or Brussels on the menu at least one nope not this time and a lot of the other veggies are cooked in pork. I also think 20.00 for a mushroom dish is outrageous. I will not be coming back as the prices are sky high and not worth it.

   I really hate to write this review as I LOVE Roosters! The food here is fabulous but... We met out of town guests here for dinner before a concert last night, 2-8-25. Our reservations were for 5:30, table of 4. It took a long time, at least 10 minutes before anyone came over to greet us or fill our water glasses. Once we placed our drink order we didn't see our server for another 14 minutes. He brought our bar drinks over, the glasses were already sweaty, but didn't take our food order. We were ready but he said he'd be back. We had totally finished our drinks before he showed back up to take our order. We did not order appetizers only the main course. We had 2 cups of tomato soup, one order of wings, one arugula salad with salmon, a caesar salad with shrimp, one order of onion rings, and one order of fries. We were there for 2 hours!!! My water glass was only filled once. I was so thirsty by the end of my meal but was over sitting there. All this being said, if you do try your luck here with the service, you need to order the salmon!! And the tomato soup is beyond delicious!!

    Food and services were outstanding. Fry oysters, shrimp, vegetables sides and bread pudding were delicious. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte!
