   I was tempted to give a bad review. We arrived a little late for our 6:30 dinner reservation and they said they were running behind anyway. 30 minutes later we still didn’t have a table. We made the resi prior to a concert so we didn’t have time to waste due to a party “just not leaving their table”. Thankfully a manager came and took care of it, got us seated and promptly had an appetizer delivered before we had even had a chance to order. Our server was great, very attentive and friendly and checked on us multiple times. The manager even came back around and thanked us again for our patience and offered to bring us whatever dessert we wanted as well. We opted for a cocktail instead. It was delicious so even after the long wait we were so thankful we stuck it out because the dinner was worth it. AND they validated our parking! So that was an added bonus. Will definitely come back.

   There wasn’t a table for our 6 so they offered to put a 4 and 2 together. Then they called me (!) and offered us an appetizer for our inconvenience. Then 2 of our party had to cancel due to a medical emergency and I let them know we only needed a table for 4. When we arrived they asked about our friend’s health and still brought us a delicious appetizer. Our server, Emma, was a delight! Overall, their service was outstanding!!!!!

   Food was just right but the service was not great. I think the server was just not well trained. Disappointed that she tried to take my plate while my guest was still eating. It's rude to rush someone who eats slower or talks more. Timing was fine but we did feel rush by the server. Offered dessert before, once again, my guest was even finished with lunch. Training, training, training... But tasty food...thanks.

   We went to roosters woodfired kitchen before the Charlotte Symphony program. Check in with excellent selected table was good waiter was very attentive parenthesis (Kevin) the atmosphere was quiet and we could very easily Cary on a conversation around our table. The food was good, but we forgot that the sides are sized for sharing and ended up with a lot of leftovers. We like roosters because of this location right next to Charlotte Symphony and it’s interesting menu. we plan to return for a next symphony event at Belk theater
