A Consumption Revolution in Uptown, Charlotte. Rooster's Wood Fired Kitchen, A Jim Noble Restaurant, will redefine dining out. A food and wine bar featuring an a la carte menu of comfortable Spanish, French and Italian influenced selections prepared on a wood fired grill, rotisserie and imported Italian oven. Rooster's is high quality and affordable casual cuisine combined with a local Southern boy's culinary impartations. The open kitchen centered in the dining room allows the guest to view the crafting of cuisine while dining at the kitchen's antique granite countertop on a hand crafted pub bar stool.     The food was amazing. Waiter, on the other hand, was not very attentive. Had to ask multiple times for water, ice, etc. Would absolutely go back for the food. Hopefully we get a different server.

    Our server was very attentive, and the service was quick. I ordered a farrow grain chicken vegetable bowl which was very good; I would order it again. My friends enjoyed each of their meals; French toast, chicken salad, salmon. However, the coconut cake dessert was a real hit! We all really liked that the restaurant connected internally with the BofA building, which is very convenient.

    Generally a wonderful experience eating here. We weren’t rushed, food came out at a reasonable pace, drinks were served quickly, service and attentiveness was excellent. Not too loud, seating is a “bit tight” but not over crowded. Fun to watch the kitchen work and the floor managers are always walking the floor to identify issues and provide good customer service/experience. My only “negative” is that I believe the prices to be a bit high for the types/styles of food (I.e a shareable side of pan fried corn should not be $10, etc…) but I knew this before going so I’m not complaining. Overall, entrees were prepared well and I’d go back again for sure!

    Visiting Charlotte and staying in uptown area. We visited here on a Sunday evening. No idea about parking, we walked. Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. Service was professional, attentive but not intrusive. They weren't packed when we walked in but it got that way and they handled it well. The food, though. Oh my. I had the baby gem salad and the roquefort dressing was delicious. I had the roasted tenderloin and added a side of Carolina gold rice. My companion had the grilled shrimp and said the shrimp were excellent. He added the blue sweet potato side dish with balsamic and cashews. Unusual but a delight. He shared a bite with me and it was so good. Wines are interesting. We had some great ones.
