Root Down and the Edible Beats Family (Root Down, Linger, Vital Root & El Five) are very grateful to welcome you to our restaurant.

Our menu features eclectic, globally-influenced seasonal cuisine, with a focus on organic, natural and locally-sourced ingredients.

Our interior dining space has the classic vibe of a neighborhood restaurant, while our large main patio offers picturesque views of the near neighborhood and downtown skyline.

Reservations are available online at ediblebeats.com, as well as OpenTable. We happily accept walk-ins as availability allows.

Our space is available for private events year round, please inquire with us directly for information.

Please be aware we are located in a residential area, and parking is available in the near neighborhood, along with a small paid-lot located directly across the street from our location.

    Loved it! Ate here years ago, came in for my friends birthday. Bottomless mimosas were totally worth it! Everything was fantastic! Service was amazing! Loved it and will be back!

    All of the food is cooked in sunflower oil and the portions were very small for the price. Our waitress also seemed unenthused to be there and like she just wanted to get her last table over with for the night. It had a nice ambiance inside but I thought the food would be much better than it actually was given the prices and the reviews.

    The food was amazing!! Very different and flavorful. The service was top notch. The hostess was very tentative and let us know the wait time and let us choose a table. We had a great and informative waitress and a woman who brought out the food a told us all about it. Such a great dining experience we had!

    Excellent experience as always! We return again and again to Root Down for great food and great service. On this visit, we were mired in traffic and I was petrified we would miss our reservation by a long shot. I texted the restaurant and they texted right back with assurances they would save us a seat. What a relief! Every staff member knows the menu and can make recommendations and they kindly checked for food allergies. What a great place to eat when you're in Denver! We try to get there at least once per year.

    We always have a good experience here. We came back for the thai carrot red curry soup, and it did not disappoint. I would give it more stars if the tables were a bit more spaced out. Solid service, drink menu, and food.
