   One of the best experiences I’ve had in awhile. Started off with the edamame and salmon crispy rice appetizer. The edamame had amazing flavor with a lemon touch to it. The sushi was outstanding and the service was top notch.

   Delightful ambiance; upstairs room was warm and inviting. Sushi is some of the best we've ever had.

   The food and service were really awesome. We followed our dinner with a live musical, “the Waitress”. It was a great evening.

   Very cool historic building with large and welcoming patio space. We were in the upstairs sushi bar-lounge and learned from the very attentive wait staff about the history with it being previously owned by Ringling and the original 1928 bar and mirrors and the secret passageway from the opera house to his old office where politicians and the well to do would come during prohibition to drink at his (illegal) speakeasy (now the sushi bar). Pretty cool. Thanks Raphael for the history lesson and private tour! Sushi and sashimi was great - very fresh. The salmon carpaccio and the yellowtail jalapeño were exquisite, the bao buns yummy. The drink menu was varied and ours were worth repeating. Always a Good sign. We’ll return to try the ‘steak’ side of the menu in future. Lots of appetizing options to explore.

   Excellent service & food! We ate upstairs which was quiet and great relaxed vibe. Patio looked great - another time. Definitely a place to return to.

   Went to Rose and Ivy for a birthday dinner and am very pleased we did. The resturaunt is very itself is very inviting when you enter and the greet staff was very friendly! We had a group of 5 and the table was very comfortable with plenty of room. We all ordered and old fashioned and appetizers, the grilled octopus was absolutely amazing! For my main i had the Korean pork chop witch was equally impressive. Everything was so tasty and the portions were great. It was a great evening and we will definitely be back

   We were visiting from out of town and loved the idea that they had great sushi along with several great beef/pork options. Everything was delicious. We loved the beef fried rice and 4 of us ordered various sushi rolls and they were all excellent. We also tried the burger and it was great as well. Highly recommend.

   I live on siesta key and I've eaten here several times. I had always loved the quality of the food as well as the value and portion size. But last night, we ordered about 12 sushi rolls and just about all of them were quite petite and small. very disappointed. Probably will not return.

    I’m a sushi purist… I can’t stand it when they do rolls with mayo or cream cheese… I want to taste the fish and the flavors. Rose and Ivy is totally on point! Excellent quality food and innovative dishes while still keeping true to the original concept. Can’t recommend them enough.
