Located in the historic Fulton Market district of Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood, Rose Mary is Chef/Owner Joe Flamm’s debut restaurant inspired by his Italian heritage and the bold, bright flavors of Croatian cuisine. The boisterous space—named for Flamm’s grandmothers, Mary and Mary Rose, and the herb rosemary, which grows natively along the Italian and Croatian coastlines—offers a seasonal menu of rustic yet refined dishes that encapsulate what Flamm has coined “Adriatic drinking food”.

    Food across the board great. Value for food was good. Unfortunately I’m not a 16 dollar of wine dude and not a 20 dollar cocktail dude either. But absolutely would go back again. Everything first class

    We had another great dinner at Rose Mary. The food was prepared beautifully, our server Greg was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu and he made the dining experience very easy, it is one of our favorite restaurants in Chicago.

    The straciatella is a must order!! The duck and the lamb are my favorite mains. Also wanted to add that we love it that you have a halal menu!!

    By far the best experience I’ve had at Rosemary and I’ve been going for 3 years now. Food was the best it’s ever been and the service was immaculate. The tuna, gnocchi, and lamb were my favs but everything was spectacular. Drinks are also a must. If you don’t know they have 20% off gift cards up to $300 on their site right now. It’s crazy Rosemary is even offering that so book a table asap and get yourself a card. They’re also opening a new restaurant just down the street which I have high hopes for.

    Really wanted to love it, but it fell short. Service was good, except the server was offering dessert prior to our last entree arriving. We also received another table’s plate, which ended up being one of the better items we had. 3/6 of the items we ordered were WAY over seasoned/salted. Cool ambience, good drinks. Not sure if it’s worth a second visit.

    Good food not great. OK service not good. Good experience, but just not what we were hoping for. Some tasty courses but when we can find something at fault when being picky with each serving it means it was not spectacular and that is what we came expecting. Good meal over all just not quite 4 stars.
