Went for the carvery, party of 4, all agreed it was tasty and incredible value: 3 courses for 15!. Good service and relaxed atmosphere. If you're looking for a chill place to eat at then def recommend.

Visited on a Saturday night. We booked a table and went for the buffet option. Very disorganised with staff and were shown to wrong table. Also staff shouting at each other over customers and didn’t look good. Food was average and given one plate to fill up with not much choice, would not do it again. It’s. a shame because it’s a nice place and was good when we visited before.

There were hardly any people dining here on Wednesday night. Made the place feel very “cold” but food was lovely and warm. I understand this is something new they are trying and hopefully in future the buffets will be much bigger with a greater selection. It certainly wasn’t fine dining but for the price it was well worth it. There was a good selection of “world foods” Chinese…Italian ( macaroni was excellent) Thai and Mexican….with boiled rice mashed potatoes garlic bread on the side and not forgetting the vegetarians a lovely puff pastry pasty with winter veg! We didn’t have children but if we had they would have eaten free so was even better value for a family meal. The staff were really nice to and the Irish lass attending to the buffet was excellent and went out of her way to make sure we had a great night.

Table and meals had been pre ordered and number of people had been amended. No Table for 3 had been changed. Were left for 20mins whilst they were meant to be sorting it out and ended up we just chose a table ourselves. Appears that the menu on line was different to what was available. Total shambles 😫

Booked a table on OpenTable about 45 minutes before we went to eat (7pm). Our booking was accepted. Upon arrival our table was not ready, and when they made one ready for us, we were told we would have to vacate the table by 8pm. Fortunately we were just planning a main course, but had we been planning 3 courses, we would not have time to complete. Bookings should not be allowed if sufficient time is not available for people to dine. We like the foundry, it is expensive (overall) with a pint and a large gin and tonic coming in at £16, but we like the live music and DJ set on a Saturday evening and my wife likes a dance. Unfortunately on this occasion, the "dance floor" was taken up with tables.

Food was tasty, however the live music was so loud that conversation was impossible while eating dinner at 6.30pm, won’t be back

I have never left a negative review before, but I don't want anyone else to have the experience that we had at the Rose St. Foundry. Our reservation for dining room was not honored and we sat in bar area with our daughter. Service was confused and not welcoming. Food was terrible! Ordered starter of "bread and olives" and got a slice of supermarket bread and a few green olives that seemed like they came from a jar. We were really looking forward to this restaurant and were severely disappointed.
