   Always a wonderful meal! I’ve been coming to Rosebud on Rush since 1987. Our family from NJ are in town for my niece’s wedding this weekend and brought them here and they loved it! We get the window seat on the 2nd floor overlooking Rush St.

   The very generous portions are perfect for a party of two whose common tastes support sharing of food. Good variety, great taste, and very helpful staff.

   Our dinner experience was phenomenal - with the most exceptional part of the evening being Angela, who looked after us to the point of serving food to our plates table-side (to her insistence). We had yet another fantastic meal (Short Rib + Polenta & Cavatelli al Forno) & Angela did her part to make us feel like family. Seriously good Italian home cooking, top tier midwestern hospitality, and an impressive menu (in a neighborhood full of tourist traps) - this is why Rosebud on Rush stays an institution. 11/10 - 6 stars - tell your friends!

   Server Alexandra was wonderful! She is knowledgeable and attentive Making reservation a week in advance for dining room and then getting told only covered patio on sidewalk only open was not very appealing. Much of the charm of the location is sitting in dining room with art/ambiance. Pasta dishes were on point, but filet was average on flavor/texture for premium price charged in that area of city.

    Miguel was our waiter and he was absolutely phenomenal! Over 20 years of service at Rosebud. The food was incredible as always! We will be back!
