   As the reviews have pretty much universally stated, the food is terrific. We had a great server and the restaurant accommodated us when we wanted to come in one hour earlier than our reservation (5:30 PM instead of 6:30 PM). The whole place is really inviting and the food is memorable. Be aware that if you sit "outside" you are in a covered terrace but it gets cold as it is not completely sealed.

   I can not say enough about this restaurant- the food was off the chain fantastic and the service was even better. Ask for Thomas, he has been there for 2 1/2 years and helped make the perfect selection. It was our 25th anniversary and he went out of his way to may it special! We will definitely be back to visit Row34!

   I’ve been very excited to try Row 34. It did not disappoint. The chicken biscuit slider and scallop appetizer are must - have items. My husband and son had lobster rolls and I had the crab risotto. We finished off the a scoop of each of the three sorbets offered. Delicious food and warm, friendly service.

   We went for dinner. I think that if you're a fan of raw seafood, this is the place for you. It seemed that most people were ordering from the raw bar. I like cooked seafood and found that the menu was limited. I ordered fish & chips which was good although I thought that the fish was a bit overcooked and my wife had a lobster roll which she thought was very good.

    First time in Boston and Row34 was a recommended restaurant. I mistakenly thought reservations were at 6pm but they were at 7pm. Uber got us there unexpectedly fast so we were there at 5:35. The only way they could accommodate us they said was to have us wait until 7pm or to eat on the enclosed patio. A tent feel is not our favorite but we opted to be seated. Husband ordered a glass of wine. We ordered crab cakes for appetizer. For main, monkfish and the bay scallop dish. I prefer larger scallops. All dishes were tasty and visually pleasing. Prices were expensive but perhaps not for the area. Bill was $116 but what got us was the 3% charge for “kitchen appreciation.” It was optional but one feels like a heel and petty to take it off. We paid it begrudgingly and feel adamantly that it is not the customer’s job to pay tips or extra pay or charges to kitchen staff. This should be paid by the employer. Customers ought to pay for food prices on the menu which should account for overhead and food costs and a fair tip for service of wait staff who make less per hour and rely on tips to make a living. If kitchen staff doesn’t make enough from their employer, they should take that up with them or find other employment. They shouldn’t pass this management problem onto their customers. Americans have gone tip crazy! Most of us have tip fatigue. It’s not about the 3%, it’s about the principal. No restaurant should be adding these erroneous charges. Pay your employees!
