RUBIA: The Perfect Blend of Japanese Seasonal Ingredients and Mexican Cuisine 
Experience gastronomic fusion of Mexican and Japanese cuisine at RUBIA, located in the heart of Shibuya. Owned by Edo Kobayashi and DJ SARASA, our restaurant has quickly become a favorite among food lovers in Tokyo. With new Head Chef Cesar Ávila Flores, our 7 course Seasonal Tasting Menu, including vegan options, and A La Carte menu feature Mexican-inspired dishes made with the finest seasonal Japanese ingredients.
We are the only Mexican restaurant so far that has alcohol pairing with Japanese Sake.

Our mixology lounge on the 2nd floor, TAHONA, serves signature cocktails made with top-shelf tequila and mezcal.

The address on Open tables was incorrect, so my wife and I could not find the restaurant on our 1st booking. However, after contacting the restaurant they were more happy to accommodate us the following evening. The welcome was amazing and the food was also just as good. The Japanese and Mexican fusion was quite delicious and well worth a visit. If I’m ever back in Shibuya, I’ll most definitely visit again.

The best Mexican restaurant in Tokyo. Good place for dinning with family and friends. Foreigner-friendly and can dine happily even if you don't speak Japanese. The chef is experienced and combine the authentic Mexican cuisine with some Japanese inspiration. So it's okay not to eat spicy food but still enjoy Mexican flavour.
