   We had the banquet menu. Disappointing that we couldn’t just change out the vegetable with another vegetable without a cost. Also restaurant quite empty but we were seated near a very robust group rather than seating them elsewhere. Sashimi and all salmon dishes were amazing but the steak wasn’t as tender as it ought to have been. A great way to try a range of dishes but next time I’d choose from the main menu. Really worth a visit and a great addition to the Wollongong restaurant scene.

   disappointing overall. Food was below average( the wagyu mains were decent) rest was nothing special. Sat the whole sitting with no drink which were asked for at the start and never came. Was then not offered any throughout the sitting. Better to travel to surry hills and go to Ito for the sort of money they are charging for this type of experience.

   As first timers at this restaurant we took recommendations from our friendly waiter/bar staff. Firstly we had salmon tacos, then salmon skewers, ragu beef with slaw and rice and lastly cheesecake. Food was fresh and the flavours were amazing. Presentation was excellent and portions were generous.

   Our first experience was amazing. The food was delicious and the staff were most courteous and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and friendly, while the location was perfect in close proximity to the city. We will definitely be back again.

   We had the banquet at $89 per head. Every course was delicious and brought to the table with appropriate breaks between each course. I asked for a martini and the barman took the time to come over and ask how I'd like it - gin or vodka, dry or dirty. Service overall was good. We'll be back!

   We had an amazing meal at Ruki! We had the banquet menu and every single thing we ate was delicious - but my absolute favourites were the wagyu steak and the basque cheesecake.

    Had dinner and drinks at Ruki with a friend, and it was such a great experience! The food and drink choices were absolutely delicious—full of flavour and beautifully presenter. And the dessert? To die for!!!
