Welcome to Rumi's Kitchen - Sandy Springs! The premier Sandy Springs location for Persian Cuisine. Owner and Head Chef Ali Mesghali’s unique and flavorful touch has been wowing patrons for over 20 years. His previous restaurant, Persepolis, was a Sandy Springs favorite.

Rumi’s Kitchen - Sandy Springs draws influence from the culinary mother of the Middle East, Persia, which spanned from the banks of the Nile River in the west to the mountains of Northern India in the east, and from the shores of the Caspian Sea in the north to the deserts of Arabia in the south of the Persian Gulf.

We have been to Rumi’s Kitchen several times but this time was particularly special. Nima provided an absolutely extraordinary experience for us - white glove service from the moment we sat down until the moment we left. He made it a point to make this night and experience one of a kind for us and provide premier level of service. We will always request Nima from here forward - thank you Nima and Rumi’s kitchen for making my mother’s birthday one to always remember.

Place was crazy busy - server was very very good. I became quick sick after eating my main dishes - beef with eggplant. Too bad - we have had many lovely meals here, but we won't be back. Something was wrong with that dish and I worry the kitchen was not taking care if its customers.

Date night with my wife! So glad to got to eat at Rumi's Sandy Springs before they close for 4 months to renovate. The service and ambiance were outstaning. Tried the Chilean Sea bass while my wife ordered the lamb -- both were very good. But still a big fan of their kabobs of which there are several kinds. The Yogurt Duo for a starter is also recommended, while the Persian ice cream was truly a delightful dessert. Rumi's remains our favorite restaurant in Atlanta!

We told the server we were fasting and wanted the food fast and he totally obliged us. Everything came really fast which is exactly what we wanted. The food was tasty and I especially recommend the dolmeh, zereshk rice, koobideh, and the fatoosh and the labneh. BUT the noise level was ridiculous and we were almost shouting in order to be heard.

Always wonderful, consistent and exciting. Business lunch, we ordered several appetizers and each had a different kebab, everybody enjoyed what they had. Look forward to dining again soon!

Rumi's has really gone down Hill. Our food took forever! We would have stayed 1 hour but by the slow service on everything, it was a 2 hour meal. The Barg Kabob came looking like road kill. It had no grill marks, was covered in the marinade I guess, a gray ugly sauce. Very unappetizing. The wings which are usually good, had very little flavor. The restaurant was super loud, had to yell at each other to Talk. It's not a pleaSSANT ENVIRONMENT. WE WON'T GO BACK. Avalon is not much better. They now rush the food and it has less flavor than the original days. But if you wnat great persona, go to Chelo in Roswell, wow! Amazing food. The Shirin rice there is much more flavorful than Rumi's. In fact all the food is. Sorry Rumi's , your getting to big for your britches I'm afraid.

Great dinner with friends! I've been to Rumi's several times, but it had been a while. This was the best meal there yet. The four of us shared five appetizers (Spinach & Date Salad, Falafel, Mirza Ghasemi, Yogurt Duo and Salmon Hummusiya) and two entrees (Chinjeh Lubia Polo and Roasted Salmon). We asked that they be served on platters for sharing and it worked really well. The presentation was nice (they must do this frequently) and we all got to taste lots of fantastic dishes. This was more than enough food even though no one wanted to stop eating. All of the dishes were a solid 5 stars except the Yogurt Duo which was good, but not quite as good as the rest. Our service was also great. The meal was at just the right pace and they did a nice job of keeping the many dishes picked up. We were there on a Tuesday evening and every table seemed to be full. I see why.

How can a restaurant be so consistently good. The food is always delicious and hot. The waiters are all so well trained and nice. The first place my family wants to go to is always Rumis. We are so lucky to have this restaurant close to us

Rumi Kitchen is a fantastic dining experience! The food was absolutely exquisite, with standout dishes like the perfectly cooked Rack of Lamb and the flavorful Ghoemeh Sabzi. Every bite was delicious and well-prepared. The service was also excellent, making the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for high-quality Persian cuisine!
