Chef Ali Mesghali"s nearly lifelong love of cooking combined with his love for Sufism brought to life for the first time in Atlanta's culinary scene the concept of Rumi's Kitchen in 2005.

    Phenomal food and wait staff, unfortunately we were initially seated right in the draft of the door in 35 degree weather which was incredibly unpleasant. When we asked to move initially we were told it would be 25-30 minutes before we could move despite having a reservation. A table opened up within 5 and we were able to move. Our waiter Santiago went above and beyond to help us and made the experience perfect. I’d highly recommend him and the food.

    The servers were amazing and it felt very much like a luxury dining experience- this is the 3rd special occasion we’ve had there and it was wonderful! And of course the food was spectacular!

    Originally we were sat at a 4 top for 6, but they graciously switched us to a larger table with 2 high chairs. Amazing food. Great service

    Rumis Kitchen Avalon is consistently superb with their service and good quality. It’s always busy unless between lunch and dinner hours, but even then they stay busy. Reservations are recommended!

    The best experience we have had at this location since it started in Avalon. They brought me a Birthday dessert at no charge. Our waiter Made the evening the best! I think the waiters name was Matub ? He made us feel like we were the most special customers in the room! You need to clone him so all of your wait staff treats your customers so wonderful!
